NPCScan and 5.1!

Hey guys!

Coming back from a decently long break from WoW and surprised to see os many new shiny pets added in 5.1(and more in 5.2!). I'd love to hunt some of these down, however I'd really like to add them to my NPCScan! Has anyone compiled a list of NPC IDs/names to easily add them to NPCScan? Thanks!

NPCScan, if updated, should already have them. Mine did anyway when I updated.

Huh. Mine had the Krasarang rares added in 5.1, but none of the new old world rares. I know pre-5.1 there was an additional lua you could add that added all of the old world(Kalimdor/EK) rarespawns, but now there are what...130 new rares? Was hoping there would be a list for these to add!

It is possible to add a specific ID to your NPCscan, if I'm correct. (I use SilverDragon, so apologies if I'm wrong.)

The ID is usually found at the end of the mob's Wowhead link. (ie; If you want to hunt down the beast Cackle, all you would have to do is go to his Wowhead page. The URL clearly states, npc=50337, so his ID is 50337, which I am sure you can input in order to track him down.)

Again, I'm not sure if this will work for NPCscan, as I have yet to use it, so I apologize in advance if it doesn't!

Yup! This does work for NPCScan as well. I had hoped someone had compiled a list of these NPC IDs in an easy to use format for this purpose, but it seems not. I may have to do it and post it here for anyone else to use.
