Araga Woes

Does anyone know the actual timer for Araga or anything that could help me find her? I'm using the add-on and found her unique ID and I'm trying to be patient but that beauty has captured me and its hard to wait any longer. I remember being a level 20 little night elf huntress then named Tyramune.. I didnt think I'd ever love my hunter so much..but then I loved her..and back in vanilla I saw Araga. I furiously whispered the hunter with her asking where i could get one and he told me and I made it my vow to catch her. I still havent fulfilled that promise after being a tiny little 35 hunter sitting at her spawn point to see her killed before my eyes crushed me completely. I cant give up I want her before cataclysm but 5 years thats a long time to wait for her..of course I have all ready found two of my favorite rares Rak'shiri and Snarler.. But Araga has eluded me for so long and shes so beautiful - the only pet I want to be female. Wtb blessing of P.Dawg in search for most wanted kitty cat. /cry

I hunted this invisible kitty on my main for so long, I gave up on her until I was able to catch her on an alt. :c

Don't give up just because she seems to never spawn! Just keep your hopes up and pray she'll appear, and maybe she'll give you your wish!

I think she has a 6-9 hour respawn... not sure and might be mixing her respawn timer up with another rare. I would suggest you don't give up and possibly check WoWhead for further information as sometimes people post the respawn timers for rares there in the comments for said mob.

try checking in the early morning hours during the week days, or 6-9-12 hours after the server restart;)

On Nesingwary, Ten found her at 5:35pm Server Time, so I'm going to hazard a guess that around 5/5:30pm on the dot would be your best bet to find her.

I've never known her to path away from her regular spawn zone (and that's going by somewhat outdated information for some time), but with Cata coming up fast, it appears she now does a lengthy walk from her regular spawn site on the grassy peaks down towards the lower entrance to the snowy part of the mountains and mills about down there for a bit before pathing back up. She was on her gentle walk towards the mountains when I found her (with a human pally not far behind intending on killing the OMGRARESPAWN >_>).

I'm not entirely sure how that would translate to local time with your location Nevar, but for me, it had just gone about 8am EAST (Adelaide Local Time, give or take a few minutes).

I've never seen this rare in the wild, and only a handful of times tamed. Good luck finding her! Just be patient.

Araga is probably one of the most difficult cats to find, she spawns on heavily populated quest zone area so that really never seems to help. And she can path pretty far, she can also be killed by the alliance npcs just like the other cats who go after the NPS (havent seen it, but heard that it can happen) Ive found her a few times and tamed her, and usually her best spawn point is by the growless cave area. Like you this beauty always seems to come back to me.. actually gave up Gondria for her and may be giving her up for King krush, providing that dino ever spawns for me lol. I think her timer is a little messed up, I can go for weeks without seeing her at all. I heard she was actually on a 36hr timer but not to sure, it just may be she just gets killed by the multiple lvl 30s who quest around that area. GL on your hunt, shes a beauty and worth the time and effort, especially since youve always wanted her.

Best of luck and patience is a virtue. Strangely enough my main has looked for Takk constantly for several days of camping and nothing.
It's scary to think I may not get him before he possibly retired when Cat comes.

Eurgh, I'm sure Araga is a frustrating beast to seek with her 21-32 hour respawn timer. :/ Just keep at it though! I know one day you'll stumble upon her. ^^ I'll try to keep an eye out for you as well.

I had Araga for a VERY short period of time, solely because I LOVE her eyes (hers are distinctly different from other cats), and she was there when I was in the process of looking for quests for Loremaster. =) I'm so sorry to hear that a pet I discarded on a whim is your dream pet. =( I wish you the VERY best of luck. *hugs*

I've seen/tamed araga 4 times on 2 characters in three months. I think I may be the only one on my server who has him (to me it's a him) so many spirit beasts and other rares running with people but never araga.

It takes patience. Araga will definitely absolutely show up in the 3 close together spawn spots.

The respawn I can confirm is almost exactly 24 hours.

The 1st time I camped my hunter by the fallen log & logged out - logged back in to see the little named dot on the search! Then nothing.
I forgot to put my pet on passive and it killed Araga. Came back exactly 24 hours later after the death it was there in a different spot (middle).

I hope you have luck! Amazing kitty. Looks like the male lions a few years back that ate a bunch of people in Tsavo - so much testosterone they can't grow a full mane ;D
