Mantid Arch gun

Unread post by Slickrock »

So.. It's been confirmed that the Mantid Arch gun is the green model.

Any idea of green mail that also matches the feel of that gun stylistically?

I know this isn't what you were asking, but I plan on wearing the Klaxxi tabard when I get mine.

coloration, and instead of bullets, it'll shoot sonic rings.

Also, currently it's bugged. It looks medium-sized ish in your char's hands, but miniature on your char's back, at least for night elf males. ( I have it and the sword. )

Would Townlong/Dread greens (as in, both uncommon and green-colored) fit it? I took some weird liking to that particular set and it happens to be green.

If only hunters could transmog leather, my monk's xmog would be amazing with this. xD

I'll see if I can find any mail when I have time, xD

Though, if you just want a set to walk around town in and not transmog, I guess the set works. :P

That gun, does not have a color match in mail...

The closest is one of the arena sets, can't remember the name, but it's the one that looks like the bad guy from TMNT, but it's just TOO green, at least on a dwarf.

So I came up with this.. Not the best, but I don't see anything else that works but doesn't make your toon look like an over-the-top Celtics fan.

I'm playing around with different engineering googles, but it's all still kinda meh.

I think I'll keep this set until I get the gun from ToT, and then build a new set around that.

Hey, Celts fans should represent ;) (I don't really sports, it's just my native team)

I'm just mogging the gun regardless of set for the silencer at the moment, but I fathom it'll match normal green tier 15. Now to hope my server stops being miserably bad at player population so that I may raid and get that set.

Bah, my first Mantid rare was the sword. Can't really complain though, Mantid archaeology is very easy...unless you use a lodestone to port into the Kunchong feeding pit!

Edit: yay Yay YAY!! Sonic Pulse Generator will be my 14th solve. Will finish getting all the fragments tomorrow.
