Confused!

I did several searches and can't really get a legit answer on this through Google.

How do you hide your cloak? It seems there is a way to hide your cloak and helm but no real true description of what is going on...

I have the assassin's outfit and there is no good cloak for it so I just want it not shown.

I see some macros...but are they actually just removing the cloak or hiding it? Is there no way to accomplish this? ARe the people that don't have cloaks or helms in their transmogs just taking screenshots with them off? Any help would be appreciated!

hit [escape],
select "Interface"
then select "Display"

the first two checkboxes in that window are to display/hide cloak and helm.

Hide Cloak and Helm have always been annoying to get to, so I'm fond of using this addon which places clickable boxes in your character window.

Awesome!! The stats will still apply to the character though correct? It just won't be visible? So glad someone could actually make that clear. All the google results had no explanation lol!!

No worries, the stats still apply. Your character is still wearing and benefiting from the items, they just turn invisible.
