Would you believe that I have done that a couple times?
So have I. XD Luckily I wasn't soloing then, so the others could continue with him while I flew back up.

Still a distant "FFUUUUU" could be heard in Pandaria that day.

I killed 3 this morning with my usual strategy. Had a mage jump in to help and was able to freeze him in place too. Haven't been able to go find another to see if something changed.

A guildie of mine said it was mini-patched recently to make them immune to snare, stuns, and taunts. Was looking around for the post but haven't found it yet. Apparently was done to intervene the griefing.

No really, I can't believe they did this, no slow, not cc, no taunt, nothing. Like they weren't hard enough already? I'm still speechless... just unfuckingbelievable.

indeed I am pretty angry right now I was teaming up with a dk for shit and giggles and I felt so useless besides dps I had to watch my dk friend die without able to do anything no taunting silence shot dint work either so he got feared.

seeing they neutered us I am going to try the old t5 just for shit and giggles just to purely see if I can manage to keep my pet up better and just tank and spank the thing (even with losing some stats it should not be to bad imo seeing that there are people with way less gear that where soloing them ) got nothing to lose now anyway :(

People will always find a way to grief; this fix seems more like a way to stop those darn solo-capable non tank classes from soloing.

And if I can't figure out a way to solo them past this (maybe some creative use of terrain?), I'll just pull a tank buddy or two in and continue on killing them.

For the last few days I have been 3 manning these with two hunters and one rogue. With this change we are now unable to kill these things making this very disappointing as we still would like their mounts and it is now unavailable to us with our setup. It is fairly hard to get a healer and tank to come along with us for several hours straight. I find this very unfair and although I know this was to stop griefing this is taking it overboard. I believe all that needs to be done is make any taunting or such unavailable for use for the people without the tag and let the ones with the tag use their abilities to take these guys down. Off to kill dino's for a bit I guess.

^ This. Sadly i think I will be giving up on these guys unless they get fixed. Maybe i will come back at the end of mop and try again but I dont think I will waste my time on this one.

Sadly confirmed. Immune to just about everything, no interrupting their 8 second fear.
Thanks a lot, Blizzard.

Well I found one and tried my usual strategy on it, minus Concussive of course. I was able to keep the fight going for about a minute before the cavalry came to take over. I'm wondering if I could pull it off in Cheetah, though if I were to get any adds on me I'd be toast.

I was able to solo one while I was on. Glpyhed for mend and spirit and used my beetle. All you really have to do is move your pet away from the ghost *to makes the ghost attack you* and kill the scarbs which is easy by keeping traps on the warbringer.

I didn't know about this change until I had already tangled with the one in Jade Forest. I was going to kite to my secret area and pet tank but then i realized he aint dazing. A hectic OMFG 10 minute Aspect of the Cheetah kite ensued. That was probably one of the funnest kites I've ever been able to do, lots of think on your feet. Geez I hope they revert the snare change at least.

So one persons game is interupted by some nub who resests there tag and ninjas it, how about just finding out who it was and giving them a hefty ban and leave it be?

And even removing the taunt also will make it impossible for the to help friends with these. I do old content with Wain quite frequently and if somthing is taunt immune, Wain being the big aggro monster I have a snowballs chance in hell keeping it on my pet (even with chain MD's) We had killed a few of these together, but now I won't be able to. That or he can just auto attack it and hope he doesn't crit.... If I knew this was going to happen I would have pushed even harder (even though I've had awful luck) and dragged wain along more often, kicking and screaming if need be. Now I feel helpless.

And yeah, I'm now left thinking... maybe in another 8 months I'll have a chance. Thats a great way to "improve" gamplay.

I don't see the point in nerfing this, honestly. It's taking fun away from the players looking for a challenge.

This is the sort of widely unpopular change that's going to drive some players into inactivity. Maybe that'll be enough to get it reverted.

Bwahahaha, So ironic it hurts....
I was recently killing a zandarlari warbringer in Kun Lai when a player continued to taunt the enemy from me and attempt to knock if off the ledge so that it would evade bug. Eventually, this player succeeded in resetting the mob and stealing the tag after he forced it to reset. My taunt is not on the same cooldown as a druid tanks and my root is also not on a sufficiently short cooldown to counter this players knockback.

I don't think this is a fair way to play the game. I have reported this player and hopefully he'll receive punitive action for this harrassing behavior.

That being said, there is no need for these mobs to be able to be taunted in the first place, which allowed this player to harrass me. These mobs should be taunt immune, effectively not allowing another player to have such a degree of control over a mob tagged to another player
.

A hotfix went out earlier this afternoon to address Zandalari Warbringer concerns.

Zandalari Warbringers are now immune to taunt, knockback, and grip effects.
They also appear immune to stuns, snares, and roots.

Edit update: I'm looking into reports that the Warbringer is immune to additional forms of crowd control or spell interrupt effects right now.
Lol, well I got what I wanted, but now I can't solo it : ( if I can't knock it back! Guess I'll have to think harder and more frost shock : )
...... Now they are complaining they can't solo it anymore...Gold!
