Aww... I was quite happily skipping all the PvP pet battle achvs until they added this pet in. /sigh

Really can't decide if its worth doing that many battles of something I dislike for the pet (way too RNG>skill based).

Think I also actually preferred the original direhorn pet models (where they just shrank the adult model).

Other pets = awesome though!

I can sympathize with you there. Karazhan and Ulduar are both nice and all, but.. yeah.


I ran Ulduar25 for 8 weeks straight, all to get my tier 8 shoulders. Did I forget to tell you they were all achievement runs? Yeaaah. Razorscale, I'm going to strangle you.

Guys, I need some help. I went to investigate in Northrend, and I came across something strange. It looks like an aura with snow and ice, but it hovers around, patrolling like an NPC.




Has this been in Storm Peaks before, or is this new? After all, Cory Stockton had this to to say:

I tried using flares, detect hidden, feign death, dying and going there in ghost form, etc -- but no effect. It's suspicious though. The movements it makes are a bit like hopping and it reminds me of Tyrael's Hilt, which has the same skeleton as the Unborn Val'kyr.

I recall Blizzard posting somewhere that there will be more dog companion pets coming, so hopefully we'll see more variety there (and the return of the brown option that used to be on the worg pup - since Tito is the reddish-brown, the brown-brown is still missing).

How? What she's saying is the actual model for Tito in game looks JUST like that. They just shrunk him to be a mini-pet. If you haven't done Karazhan or more specifically the Wizard of Oz play during the Opera then I suppose you wouldn't know that.

Actually I'm pretty sure the ones in Storm peaks are not motes as mentioned. These spawn in certain areas, I know for sure one of them is here......



.... out the front of the cave and inside too, where the Frost Reavers/Elementals roam.

They have been there since Wrath, but they are defiantly a curiosity, I too remember stopping and having a good look when I found them.

Those frosty floating orbs are an engineering gather node with a Zapthrottle Extractor! Extracting them gets you air and water motes.
