All my this x2. I love spring/summer, but the moment pollen enters the air... I'm basically dead to the world. What sucks even more though is I have one of those friends who thinks that I shouldn't complain because her brother has it worse than me. My hay fever causes me to have headaches and a horribly dry and runny nose and sore eyes and her brother has a slight chance of being killed by it... apparently. So that makes mine not a problem at all and everything is fine and dandy and I shouldn't be allowed to complain just because your brother, who I've never even met before, has it worse off than me. I know that sounds kinda cruel, but I really hate it when someone says they have the situation worse and therefore yours is now irrelevant.

One of her other "friends"(I use quotation marks because this girl is being horrible to my friend)posted on that status and complained that at least she had hair because said girl was going bald which... It's not confirmed yet....and I hope this....thing never comes to be....but if it is his evolution, I'm gonna be more pissed than I already am.

He's my favorite as well but yes that IS confirmed to be real. It was officially announced yesterday. Nobody knows if it's a new Pokemon, a form he takes, or an evolution though. They didn't say.

If it's an evolution or some stupid form he takes like Deoxys, I'm gonna flip some damn tables, I swear it.

I'm fine with it either way. It's a different take on Mewtwo and I love Mewtwo. But I'd love Mewtwo no matter what form he's in and it looks really cool in the gameplay footage. I'd be willing to bet it's connected with the new Mewtwo movie I some way and that it could very well be an evolution but Mewtwo is always Mewtwo to me.

It doesn't ruin the 'sanctity' of Mewtwo. If you don't like it, don't catch it. Simple as that. If the game forces you to encounter it, murder it or put it in your box. Nintendo isn't going to force you to do it. And if they do and it truly bothers you then you care way too much about this game and you need to take a step back.

(I'm not really targetting you or anyone else, Jess, I've just seen a -lot- of people getting up in arms and frankly I'm sort of tired of it because it doesn't make sense and no one tells me why this is such a big deal other than "oh god it's ugly and oh no Mewtwo" which frankly are silly reasons.)

I actually like the design because to me it looks like Mewtwo has evolved into a more final form. To me he's an alien and ever changing. But there's nothing wrong with only liking a certain gen. I have Pokemon I like and dislike in ALL gens.

I care cause he's my favorite pokemon. Always has been. I'm not gonna say there hasn't been other ugly pokemon in the past, including gen 1, just...why mess up something that had a solid backstory and already decent but alien appearance? If it aint broke, don't try to fix it.

Now if this ugly mewtwo wanna-be is a different clone cause Giovanni funded another project, then I'm hunky dory. It leaves my Mewtwo alone. I could totally see Giovanni pulling a dick move like that considering he nearly killed Mewtwo in Mewtwo Returns.

His design is awful(there have been plenty of pokemon with awful designs, including that new eeveelution but again, it's not like they took say...Glaceon and made it some other evolved ugly thing). It looks like they just too his butt and put it on the back of his head and enlarged his toes to look like it got slammed with a mallet on those looney toons shows.

And hey...this is the rant thread. I'm gonna blow off my steam about it here, rather than blow up the pokemon thread over this or something. I feel like I have a right to be upset about this since my reasons aren't with rose-tinted glasses. They're legit to me and it's how I personally feel about it. I pray it's not an evolution or a form. Hopefully Nintendo sees the backlash it's getting and curbs away from altering an already good pokemon with a good, deep backstory. :/

If someone else likes it, kudos to them. Me? I despise it at this current time. That is subject to change when we find out more about it.

As for you Azu, I can understand being annoyed by all the complaints. I just needed to blow it out of my system for the time being.

The fact is its already happening. It's in game, it's there and nobody knows what it is. Pokemon evolve and if they wanted to make Mewtwo look even more alien like and evolve him then they can. It may be the rant thread but you make it seem like some great tragedy when it really isn't. I mean like Azu said. Just ignore it and love your original Mewtwo and make him hold an everstone or whatever so he doesn't evolve but just because you don't like it doesn't make it wrong. He's my favorite Pokemon too but if I didn't like him that's what I'd do. It doesn't destroy Mewtwo at all.

But in reality this really should all be in the Pokemon thread as it is specifically there for discussing Pokemon.

I never once said it was wrong. I do feel like it is a tragedy of sorts. Mewtwo has a set story. If he had an evolution, it would've already been established long before now. I feel like they're doing some of the same stuff DC Comics did, which I have every right to feel the way I do, just as you do to not really give a damn about it.

Also since I didn't mention this....the games haven't appealed to me much since Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. I played a little of HeartGold/SoulSilver, but that's it from there. While I don't play much anymore, I still keep tabs. If it were to remain in the game and ONLY in the game, while disgruntled, I'd be alright with it.

However, they're making a movie with that thing in it and if it is an evolution of Mewtwo, that ruffles my feathers a lot, especially as a Pokemon Rper. Like I said, adding an evolution will change his story a lot and I don't like it when good lore gets messed with. It's a pet peeve of mine.

So please let me rant in peace in the place that is here for ranting. I don't rant often. This is one of few times I'm actually ranting. I'm getting it out of my system so I can sit back and see what it is.

So sick of lore elitists. A good friend of mine plays a San'layn. Yep, I said it. But for the longest time she has been hiding it, putting in her descriptions that she's a belf DK and such. Of course, she still plays it like a San'layn, and uses blood magic exclusively. And people get into a frothing rage over this when they ask her to explain, and the best way to put it is, the character isn't like a true DK.

Oh, but that's against lore!

I've heard it a million god damned times. X character is against lore because Y. San'layn don't exist anymore because they were all killed with the LK. Dragons would never interact with mortals on such a personal level. Your druid can't have a deer for a travel form because Druids of the Antler aren't a proven thing ( I actually had someone tell this to -my- character before MoP came out ).

See, the thing is, people are unique. They have their own reasons for existing, for doing what they do, for being where they are, etc. I don't mind if people fill in the gray areas of lore, I really don't. Because what I look for in that sort of RP is " Are they doing it for the sake of character development? Or are they doing it to lord their specialness over others? " If the answer to the first is yes and the second is no, then not only do I think they should go right ahead with it, but I personally would want to RP with them. And my friend, I watched her make this character, I watched her go through the character development, and I saw her pull off something that, at one point, I was an elitist about, and realize just how stupid I was for being so elitist. She has her reasons for this character existing.

And then jackass lore know-it-alls come along, get wind of what she's doing, and try to outright bully her out of it. Some of these people in our own damn guild. The same guild I went into with the impression of everyone being pretty accepting about these sorts of things.

You people are the reason my best friend is scared to RP on WoW. Consequently, you're the reason I've been losing interest in the game- all the good, in depth role play has been taking place on Skype because a few jackasses will ruin it for us in game, believing they are the lore police or something. Like, for fuck's sake, get over yourselves, people.

I didn't even know the San'laiyn were wiped out with the LK cause there was nothing ever stating that. That was mostly speculation. Far as I'm concerned, whos to say there wasn't a few others hiding away. It's kinda what they're good at doing

You're like me. I don't mind grey areas being filled. I don't mind people bending the lore a little either so long as it's within reason and it makes sense.

I had a three week easter break and I'm back at uni today and I did absolutely no work over the holiday. I'm so fucked lol.

Also, 2k bones, still no eggs. Been around two months since I started farming for a shiny Vulpix and still nothing. Yeah, thanks RNG, but please be a little bit nicer to me. Especially this month. It's going to be a depressing one, so don't make it worse. Just... one egg. Please. I know I'll farm more after that but just one would be nice for now. And I really wanna continue playing the SoulSilver story so please just let me have my shiny, my first ever shiny, and I'll be on my way and one happy kitty.

i'm sick again. i'm always sick. i catch a bug like i'm a small child with no immune system. fevers and shakes and puking again. i need to go to the nurse's office here on campus so i can get my absence excused (always forget to do that), but it costs me 30$ and i don't really feel like moving. but i need to. and i can go ask for a birth control prescription while i'm there, too... someone just carry me to fronske's i can't move on my own.

Thought I'd try and get my fitness up, but normally don’t have much time left in the day. So last night I thought I'd go for a run around the local park. (it's a good suburb and was safe to do so imo) The park was dimly lit but I could still see everything pretty well. After doing 4 laps (and nearly dying from unfitness) I decide to push it out for the last bit run up the bank and between the bollards and home. What I did not know is that someone had strung wire between the bollards which was all but invisible in the dim light.

I literally had my legs taken out from underneath me and them tangled up in the wire. I was such a shock and a mess that I literally stayed down, face 1st in the dirt, head spinning, trying to work out what had happened for quite some time. I finally slowly untangled myself and proceeded to make my way home. As I was already exhausted from my run I did not realize how bad it was.

This morning I woke up at 6am after rolling over in my sleep and waking up from the pain. My legs where all swollen and bruised already, After work I think I’m going to get some wire cutters and go back and remove the wire. As much as it was my fault as I ran into it, it’s actually really dangerous. It’s also an open park, it’s not like it’s serving a purpose, in fact I actually entered the park between the set of bollards just next to it… which had no wire.
