Braces aint so bad. You get used to them. I had to have them for a year or so. The worst part was just the first month. You won't be able to chew any solids so be prepared for that. Get stuff like applesauce and mashed potatoes or other stuff that doesn't require chewing.

You couldn't chew solid food for a *month*?! When I had braces, I couldn't chew anything properly for like... two days. o.o After that, all was fine. Apart from the fact that braces put me off eating soft bread, because any time I did bits got stuck between the braces and ew. Now I pretty much hate bread even though I've been braces-free for like seven years. xD

Nope. I had teeth that were really messed up so my jaw was in a lot of pain. Couldn't eat bread or anything.

Oh god, braces...I had them for 3+ yrs...hated every single day of them. Everyday the taste of blood as the metal ripped the inside of my mouth. The food that got stuck everywhere, the constant pain...I look at my daughter and see that she has teeth like mine where...But I will NEVER EVER force her to wear braces. I will wait till she is old enough to make an informed decision on her own.
Getting braces, that was the first time I truly looked at my mother and really hated her. I didn't want braces, I wasn't given a choice.

I am sorry you have to get braces. I hope your one of the lucky ones who are more compatible with braces.

Well, I imagine it's going to hurt because my two front teeth overlap and my bottom four are just kindof uaishsaiuodwgrea. Do they really hurt bad when you get them in? >_< My mother said I have to because she doesn't want my teeth to look like hers even though I don't want them, she's still making me get them. I just hope it won't be for 3 years, more like 2 or 1 but I dunno with my teeth >_<
And thanks, I've gotten teeth pulled before, so I hope getting braces won't be that bad.

Oddly enough, even though I had some really weird mechanical contraptions stuck in my jaws, I never really hated having braces. I even had two big bars on the sides of my mouth that kept me from moving my jaw from side to side and I was still okay with them. I just got so used to them that they were natural, I guess. Braces bugged me a little, but by the time I got them off I was so weirded out by the texture of my own teeth that I kind of wanted my braces back. xD

I used to know the feeling xD I had a retainer once because I had a thumb sucking problem but it broke in 4th grade during a movie and they just took it out because they already fixed it once and didn't want to again, and it felt so weird not having it there

I'm so lonely. The people around me don't care any more. My own family gave up on me pretty much because I spend too much time alone in my room. My only real friends are here on the Internet, but due to time-zone differences I don't get to see them all the time. Start something up? Make something happen? Nope... nope, ignored. I wish my brother wouldn't get upset when I'm upset, too. That's the only notice I get these days. My brother swearing at me for being upset. Yeah, don't come comfort me, will you? Just yell at me for being sad and make me feel worse, why don't you?

macaroni is perfect. Poptarts? Not so much. That requires chewing and poptarts are crunchy usually.

If you've gotten teeth pulled before, you might adjust easier. I didn't get any pulled before I got my braces. Your mouth will be a little sore atleast cause you gotta think about it...metal is pulling your teeth in a direction it didn't grow in. It sounds worse than it really is. I think you'll do fine. You'll get adjusted to them. Cool thing is you get to pick whatever colors you want! I'd always do them according to the holidays. x3 I loved that part!

Everytime I ever want to attempt writing a story-- just one little short story, my mind goes blank. I don't even know what I should write about but I know I wan't to write similar to the person who did The Yellow Wallpaper. It's such a funky short story I love it to death. Just finished reading it after first picking it up back in school like 6 years ago.

I stuck my nose where it didn't belong and accidentally upturned a city-sized bucket of insecurities over my head. This is my third day of fretting myself into a constant stomachache. I really, really wish I could just get over it.

If you've gotten teeth pulled before, you might adjust easier. I didn't get any pulled before I got my braces. Your mouth will be a little sore atleast cause you gotta think about it...metal is pulling your teeth in a direction it didn't grow in. It sounds worse than it really is. I think you'll do fine. I love macaroni, so I guess that's a good thing x3 and when I toss some pope arts in the microwave, they're all soft and easily tearable, so I could just cut them into pieces :L
I'm excited about the colors, I like being given a variety to choose from :3

On another note/rant:
I know your four, but when you see me pouring a steaming hot pot of tea into a pitcher, don't fucking hit me with a card, thanks to your I wasted sugar, tea bags, dirtied a brand new pitcher I wanted to use, and quit brewing tea for a while when your around and burned my fingers nearly getting the tea bags out of the pitcher and squeezing the access tea out.
