Duskbats are now voiceless...

I don't know when did they took out the bat's vocalization.. but the once vocal on click Duskbats even post tame from Tirisfal are now voiceless; they do not shriek when clicked. RIP

Poor Abies... i ran all the way to tame him at lvl 10! just for the vocal click.... still an achivement for me.. but Xinias bat just got less special

That seems odd. I wonder if it's just a sound glitch in 5.3 and not a deliberate thing. Like the DMF carousel music suddenly not playing properly.

Any update on this? Are they still silent? Has anyone tested other vocal pets? I'm still hoping it's a sound glitch that will be hot fixed. But if it continues I'll check that Noah knows about it.

Okay, I ran about and tamed the few pets I know of to make vocals on click...

Yes = still vocal on click
No = no longer vocal on click

Seawing - Yes
Prairie Wolf - Yes
Jade Guardian - Yes
Gib the Banana-Hoarder - Yes
Duskbat - No

I'm not sure how many others there are that I don't know of, or remember. If there are, just post them, and I'll go check.

Gundrak rhinos grunted an made noise upon clicking. I'll check them tonight and be sure they still do. I'll be so broken heared if they're silent now.

I forgot to check my rhino but did notice that Karoma makes noise when clicked also. Not sure if you were looking for a list of creatures whom were audible before and after but thought I'd toss it in there.

Yep, they still seem to be voiceless on Live and PTR.
