I decided to start going back to the Argent Dailies to finish up a few mounts up there I haven't gotten yet with the Champion Marks to push myself to the 200 mount mark. Well, while doing that, I got the quest to capture the little critters with the nets in Storm Peaks, that was my final quest to hand in. Flying back, I found myself flying over the left hand side of the TLPD routue, I noticed this as it's obviously an old habit of mine, and laughed to myself.
Two seconds later, NPCScan goes off, and there is the big bugger flapping his wings in front of me. I swear as I seen him he said:
"Oh... HAI THERE SOPH!! Remember me? Yeah... sorry I didn't show up for you this easily when you know, you were sitting around in cold old Storm Peaks for weeks on end, camping for hours on end, and showing up when you wanted me too. But thought I'd stop by for old times sake and say HAI!!"
Quick /who 0-90 Storm Peaks to see who is around, and no-one, which I was stunned about, because I would have hit them up to come on over & snag their mount. And I didn't see anyone camping at the Frozen Lake or the other popular spots as I flew up, so thought, ok, someone is having a lucky day on my Real ID list. Fly up, aggro him, fly down, land, auto-hit him gently, turn my back on him and then pick out some lucky person.
To them: Oi
(in the process of typing:) So you should come over to Storm Peaks because I have a fat dragon nibbling on Soph's ear saying he wants to be your mount

Someone flies down, one shots the big guy, /s GRATS! and then flies off.
I was kinda stunned... so I quickly whispered them, thinking maybe I had just taken a tag from someone who had being camping and they said, "Oh no, had him months ago, seen you having trouble so came down to help, grats again!"
I facepalmed... but then laughed thinking that I needed help killing him when he has 18,900 HP.. but anyway, the thought was nice.
Just felt bad having to whisper the guy back to say, "Oh... nevermind... umm... yeah, had him tagged for you but someone came down & one shot it... but I now have [Reins of the Time-Lost Proto-Drake] in my bags... sorry mate
