Flight Rising - General Discussion

[Nefretiti]

Holy gods, Nef, Percival is gorgeous! Wow, you get lucky with the dragons, don't you?

Anyway, I apparently decided that having treasure was unacceptable so I bought another tundra girl. She's purple-licious!

Percy is one of my favourites I could hardly belive my eyes when he crawled out of the egg.

That's an adorable little lady

/flail! That little girl is gorgeous, if you get another of a similar color would you mind letting me know? Preferably a female but we will see when the time comes. she's just so lovely and the purple eyes too <3 (I just really love purple )

[TygerDarkstorm]

I got alittle egg crazy so I have a number of hatchies I can sell or trade, posting here first incase theres one ya'll are interested in

pretty red fae lady

this one wasnt from an egg but anyway

I'd be interested in buying one of these two if you're still selling them.

[Nefretiti]

yeah they're still avalible which one do you want or both?

[TygerDarkstorm]

The tundra male is calling to me over the fae so I'll take him.

[Nefretiti]

Okie dokie

20k sound fair? I usually sell them for 25 26k on the auction house.

[TygerDarkstorm]

Yep, sounds fair to me!

[Nefretiti]

sent a request, I hope that was the right hatchling hehe

[Makoes]

Now I really need a complimentary blue male tundra for her.

Here he is...

so little room left for all the babies T.T

[Nefretiti]

and Squee and Astraeus will be able to breed in two days too

[TygerDarkstorm]

It was Nef, thank you very much! Woo! They'll make such lovely babies.
That's why I have my lair expanded into two pages, Makoes. I keep finding too many dragons I like.

[Makoes]

Yeah, had to cough over more treasure to expand again...Hopefully will make it up with the babies

[TygerDarkstorm]

I need to stop buying babies and start making some of my own to sell/trade. xD

Three Tundras from my pair. Offering them here now before I send them to the AH. Due to my limited space, I'm more or less looking for treasure rather then a dragon trade. XD

Last call for anyone who may want one of these guys or else they're going to the AH.

[Makoes]

They are all really pretty, I love the jade one. But i think I have to stop getting more dragons and actually wait till after my Dragons start pumping out babies XD.

I am debating on turning these two into wildclaws:

and

[Mozag]

I have a question about changing dragons into other breeds. Can it only be done on first generation dragons? Why are 1st generation dragons considered so valuable, as opposed to 2nd generation ones? Because I'd like to start pondering which of mine I would turn, but I need to be clear on who are eligible.

[TygerDarkstorm]

They should be doable to any dragon. First gens are so valuable because they don't have parents to pull genes from when they make babies. Plus scavenged eggs (and thus their first gen babies) are a lot harder to obtain.

[Nefretiti]

I think you can turn any dragon, I turned Tsumetai into a wildclaw and she was the offspring of my progenitors.

[Lupis]

Ended up finding a lovely skin for only 10k on AH, so Rosemary got a bit of a makeover.

I didn't realise that the parents' colours had any say in what the offspring of their offspring would have. O.O
I could have sworn I read somewhere that only the two dragons that make the babies are considered, not the ancestry. I don't seem to be able to find that post now...

Edit:

"Breeding allows the passing down of genes, which will be inherited from the two parent dragons only (Flight Rising does not operate on a Mendel System). Using this system, players can acquire dragons that meet their aesthetic choice, and continue to breed them together to achieve desired color outcomes."
