Flight Rising - General Discussion
Re: Flight Rising
Ahh, darnit, I need a male. (Also I don't have 20k atm. @_@)
But I'll work on it.

Re: Flight Rising
This is someone who has an all-black stable, which is causing me great envy...
ALL his dragons (over three pages) are black with either black secondaries, or orange or red. I am drooling.

Re: Flight Rising
Wee, lists!
The dimorphism in the dragons isn't really drastic enough to give me a differing opinion between males and females, so for breeds in general my list is:
01. Guardian - I feel kind of boring having one of the basic starter breeds as my first choice, but I really love the classic dragon design of the Guardians. It's basically my favourite sort of draconic appearance.
02. Ridgeback - I adore this breed, can't wait to get my hands on one (or two, or twelve). They're so reminiscent of Netherdrakes with their shark-like features.
03. Spiral - I love long dragons, and I really love these guys' reptilian heads. Their one caveat is that they feel very cramped inside their box dimensions. It bothers me a little bit, but not enough to affect my fondness for them.
04. Mirror - Overall just a great design, simple but unique. I like the smooth heads and multiple eyes.
05. Wildclaw - Dino dragons! Nuff said.
06. Imperial - Gorgeous Eastern design, I certainly hope to own one some day.
07. Fae - I can't say I'm huge on dainty fairy dragons in general, but these do have beautiful designs. I like them better than I expected to.
08. Pearlcatcher - Lovely dragons, though very similar to Imperials in body type and I prefer the Imperial appearance.
09. Tundra - I don't dislike them at all, but they did take some warming up to (I prefer my dragons with scales). They're super cute and fluffy though.
10. Snapper - I don't actually like Snappers at all, don't really have anything nice to say about them. I think they're ugly. The large blocky jaw does nothing for me and their bodies look awkward. I don't think I'll ever get one.
Hatchlings are definitely different from adults though:
01. Ridgeback
02. Spiral
03. Mirror
04. Imperial
05. Guardian
06. Fae
07. Wildclaw
08. Tundra
09. Pearlcatcher
10. Snapper

Re: Flight Rising
I'll get in on the dragon count too.
I'm gonna combine males/females though since I tend to like both poses pretty equally.
01: Wildclaw. Absolutely LOVE their appearance, and there are very few colours that I don't like on them.
02: Faae. I..really have a thing for faaes, I'm not sure why, but I just love them. So many colours look awesome on them and they just look so playful.
03: Ridgeback. Ridgebacks and Guardians are pretty much completely equal for me, I love their traditonal and fearsome draconic appearance a lot.
04: Guardian. Similar to Ridgebacks, I just love their wings, spines, fearsome expressions, etc.
05: Imperial. So pretty! I really like imperials, and even though I like the more draconic dragons a tad more, these guys are still beautiful.
06: Mirror. I LOVE the mirror model, the issue I have with mirrors though is that I only like them in certain colours. Usually very dark colours, or greyscales.
07: Snapper. They're kind of far down on the list, but I still like them. Their models aren't the best, but I think they look adorable with certain colours and patterns.
08: Pearlcatcher. Pearlcatchers are kinda..meh to me. I like some of them but I prefer most of the first gen dragons to them, even. They just don't catch me.
09: Tundra. I have a similar problem to tundras that I do with mirrors- I only like really specific colours on them! Usually natural colours, such as browns, white, grey, black, etc.
10: Spiral. I honestly..do not like spirals at all. They just look weird to me.
It's really hard to rate the dragons! D: I honestly love most of the models, especially when they're in nice colours, the only dragon I can honestly say I *don't* like are Spirals.

Okay, Qinni! I have the dough.
So! How do we do this? Just open a trade?
Edit: Figured it out.

Re: Flight Rising
Lists are fun. I'm going to join in on this one.
Male:
1. Spirals, probably. They're just so great and I love their expressions. So lively!
2. Tundras. They're so freakin' cute and I love their manes.
3. Mirrors, for their great wings. Plus I like how smooth and lithe they are.
4. Imperials, though I admit this may mostly be because of Capriccio. >.> They really are lovely though.
5. Pearlcatchers, which are close behind Imperials. I love their design and I love the pearls, but I don't really like the pose on the males. I feel like the pearl they're holding is going to fall out of their paw and crack on the ground.
6. Ridgebacks, because they're beautiful and amazing, even if the nose horn on the males really, really bugs me. I just can't get past that horn.
7. Guardians. I mean, I really do like them. They're really very pretty. I'm not all too huge on the classic dragon design, but I certainly don't hate them for it.
8. Wildclaws. They're pretty, just bland. But pretty. But bland.
9. Snappers. They really are pretty cute, but I feel like I'd only ever want one.
10. Fae. I do really like Fae, and my first dragon was a fae. Just not the male ones.
Female:
1. Spirals. >.> Can you see a pattern here?
2. Pearlcatchers! The female pearls are gorgeous and I adore them. I love their pose, and how they're hugging the pearl to their chest.
3. Imperials move up a spot here because I find the pose for the females to be just wonderful!
4. Ridgebacks, because without that horn and with that cool arm skin flap thing, they're amazing.
5. Wildclaws, I find their female pose to be a lot prettier.
6. Fae, their females are so pretty.
7. Guardians, I can't choose between the males and females.
8. Mirrors, I'm not as big a fan of this pose. But they're still pretty.
9. Tundra. The pose is just so boring.
10. Snappers. As much as I like how they look like fat crocodiles when they're female, I just can't go crazy for them.

Re: Flight Rising
I just exalted Acheron, my random male progenitor. I just couldn't get used to the ivory, even if he did have lovely obsidian wings.
Why couldn't he have been white, or silver or even just grey...I feel bad now.

Re: Flight Rising
