They could do with a little more work imo.

Eh, it's what I expected. Nothing "mind blowing" but it's halfway decent.

Seconded.Vephriel wrote:Bleh...not a fan at all. The face shape really bothers me for some reason, and to be honest it doesn't give much of a 'wolf' vibe. The amount of eye makeup comes off as some sort of Disney-esque anthro.

Pics are up over at MMOChampion too
My thoughts? Eeeeehh, it's hard to tell from a static image really. I'm a little indifferent to them. Certainly haven't fallen in love with them as I have with the male worgen... and both genders of goblins.

But it is a work in progress. I imagine the model will be fine tuned in the coming months. And will probably look a lot better with hair too.
Re: Female Worgen Revealed...
I imagine that Blizzard would like some feedback on these and is watching to see what we say about them. I think it's reasonable to assume, with the time these are taking them, that they aren't quite satisfied either; that they are having some trouble getting the female and wolf to balance.

Also, new models for the old races are INCREDIBLY needed.

Mm, yes. Definitely a deer vibe from them. The slope from the forehead down into the snout looks extremely awkward as well. The eyes bother me the most probably. I think it's silly to put what looks like eyeshadow and mascara on an animal race like worgen. :/Mania wrote:And when the ears are forward ... I still get deer. I know that they're a work in progress, but I doubt that they will change drastically from what we see here. Some touch ups for sure, maybe a bit of fidgeting, but overall I think we can see how the end result will turn out roughly.

I don't like the idle stance tho, that could be fixed, and hopefully the head does get a few more touch ups but so far liking them alot more than the males.
Might really reroll Strawberry as one...

Sorry but, there's nothing deer like about the fem worgen, they look like a cross of Foxes and Wolves.

Re: Female Worgen Revealed...
Naturally if I sit there and scrutinize it, comparing it with a photo of a deer, there probably would not be much resemblance. However I can't shake that response from my mind.

Re: Female Worgen Revealed...
It's cause of the lack of hair, that's all tbh. The model isn't fuzzy so ofc the first thought probably won't be 'wolf' but 'deer' but really outside that they look more vulpine/wolven than their male counterparts, who still seem a bit to lionish imo. atleast it got better as the model was tweakedVephriel wrote:I'm not saying that they look like anthropomorphic deer, merely that they give me the impression of deer. Whether or not they actually appear as such, an impression is there regardless. I can't help but think of deer when I see them at first glance. *shrug*

Re: Female Worgen Revealed...
They need to look more hunched over and furrier. And please tell me that's not a plate bikini on the DK?

Not trying to sound like a crybaby here, but they look too raccoon/fox/cat like for my tastes... I mean, the models are... okay... but unless they look more wolf-like I'm probably not going to roll one.
Maybe they'll look better with actual hair?
I'm just hoping they make them look more wolf-like.

It's not eyeshadow, as far as I can tell it's a side effect from the glowing eyes. IE the eye shadow is the same color as the eye glow.Pawtrack wrote:They look waaaayyyyy to fox-like, I don't like the reverse-raccoon thing they've got with they're face, and the eyeshadow? really?

Honestly, looking at those pictures... they look like a deer/fox hybrid, not a wolf/fox hybrid...Ryai wrote:This is because everyone seems to be going; well they look like deer/resemble deer

Edit: looking closer at the photos... I think I found where they went wrong (and what makes the models look so fox-like) - they're not furry/bulky enough. Wolves have rather thick fur and are strong creatures, foxes have shorter fur and are skinnier. They just need to make 'em look stronger and less skinny/short-furred.
