Yes, for me it's black/red, black/mulberry (but other purples can do), black/neon bright colours, black/black, black/white and black/grey. I even like pink if it's with obsidian. I think the only colours I can't deal with are browns and any colours that lean towards a browny tone, like swamp green and goldenrod yellow. Bleh, even obsidian can't save those.

Edit: And yes, I am very jealous of your Maleficent, and kicking myself for not thinking of it myself. She is and always was my favourite Disney character. I think she probably had more to do with how I grew up than any other female character anywhere.

Thanks to my generous partner, who was willing to throw 100K my way for a pick of a Pearlie baby, Kratos is now an eye-searingly fancy Pearlie.
Time to save another 200K for tiger stripes and wing stripes.

Doc - Yes, Ghoul is actually very cool.

But I'd never have bought him myself, shame on me!

Oh I adore him as a Pearlie!

Ghoul is an odd one. He fast became my baby. It's odd normally I don't even like browns and greens but I found him and that changed!

He got some new bling too.. Here he is in all his glory.

on another note

my crowded lair is why my husband wont let me have pets... i tend to impulse get things i think are cute/pretty

i am having trouble sticking to my lair plan cause so many pretty dragons dosnt fit with pets

Trying to safe from now on... really i am.. 25k and my dragons can breed in 5 days... hatchling are soo low but still could get me some of the way..

MUST safe...

maybe wear blindfold or dont look at the trade/sale thread here and in fr

How long does it take to sort of build up. I've only got my 2 original, one of whom I really don't like

and 1 lonely egg I managed to scavenge. I've been using almost all my gathering on trying to get another one but no luck. Sometime it feels like I'm getting nowhere as far as collecting. Does it usually take a long time? I can't seem to win coliseum fights, even on the baby level.

depends Dewclaw.. u got unlucky with your eggs going bad.. but usually hatchlings sell for 15k-25k

if i look at when i started and how many dragons i have im amazed that ive gone so fast.

If you want you can have Liam in about 10 days when he is done breeding.

I dont care for him and since your struggeling i dont mind giving him to you for free once im done using him?

he is lvl 6 so he will also help u win in the colisuim

if you want him just say so. Im the kind free give away dragon nutter and i dont mind helping out.. I know how hard it is to earn treasure. Just bear in mind that you first get him when he has breed and hatched eggs

I know how you feel, Tarn. I am terrible at saving, and the reason my partner took pity on me was because I just blew 60K of painstakingly saved treasure on my two newest dragons. I think he just wanted to me to stop whining!

It's hard to stay away from the AH, because after a few hours I start thinking...BUT WHAT IF SOMEONE IS SELLING MY DREAM DRAGON CHEAPLY RIGHT NOW??? And then I cave in, go and browse and hey presto, no money.

I HOPE my Pearlies lay a nice four egg nest, and create marvellous babies together that will all sell for 250K apiece and I can bathe in the glorious light of riches. But knowing my luck it will be one egg that will hatch into something really, really digusting. Swamp green with pink wings perhaps... *shudder*

Dewclaw - You just need to save up money, because scavenging is heavily RNG. I am level 13 in scavenging and have found only one egg so far (he's very handsome, Tyger!). Play the games, earn cash, and go and browse the AH for some dragons that you find desirable. Most dragons are really, really cheap now. You can find all sorts between 15-25K with ease.

Honestly I'm not sure how I keep ending up with money to spend, once I do have it it tends to disappear quickly.

EDIT: Ugh, I'm so horrible, I caved in and bought her

but she was just so pretty and she must have been on the AH for so long. Now I need to think of a good name (and save up for a male with eye spots

)

Tarn, thank you for the kind offer, but i don't want to take your dragon from you. I ended up checking the ah as someone suggested. I dont see where they are cheap, lol, but i spent all my money on a tundra.

I'm soooo excited to get her she's like a raven! <3

Mia - I've seen those parents around now and then, and they are really gorgeous. Lucky you for getting one of their babies!
