Why would they HELP her?

Still- I most likely after confirming that it's not their bike, immediately call up a cop or get a park ranger or something, no matter who it was. D:

I refuse to make any solid judgement until I see an unedited video, unfortunately you cannot trust anything you see as news anymore :(

But to answer the actual question I don't care who you are I would call the cops or at-least the community patrol and have them check it out, bikes are an important means of transportation here :D

it's not a "news item". it's from a show called "What Would You Do?"
they use actors to put people in situations to see how they react.

What make my jaw drop is amount of subliminal setup we are conditioned to fall for.
These two men about the same age, as the host proclaims, as if it should absolve any other factors (appart from the obvious comparison they are trying to compare)

The 1st guy is wearing a blue T-shirt, and the 2nd guy red. So which one is the danger colour I wonder?

The 1st guy is A LOT larger in stature than 2nd guy. How much confidence would the passers by have to confront the 2nd guy if he was bigger? People did stop and question the 1st guy, but he was vastly more intimidating than his (for lack of a more polite term) scrawny counterpart. Enough so that an elderly gentelman thought him physically confrontable.

The 1st guys clothes fit him and te 2ns guys where oversized. This over sized clothing denotes hand-me-downs and a lower economic status as thus more likely to be a thief. Hit hat is also not on his head, but perked ontop also denoting a more "Gangster" appearance.

And as for the host saying that they are about the same age, the 1st guy still looks and sounds a lot older than the 2nd guy.

As for the girl, do I need to even go there? Skimpy little singlet, healthy looking, beautiful straight blonde hair, attractive looking, smiling as she did it as to to diffuse any look of deception or ill intent, pastel green top, no hat, etc etc etc.

We've all been had before you even watch it, that's what makes my jaw drop....

As someone who studied film at University I agree with Syleye that this could of been edited so many ways to make the darker man out to be a victim. They could of yelled at the first guy and edited it out or totally ignored the 2nd guy for ages before questioning him. The "Public" could also be actors, you just never know. The media loves making us all feel bad about society and ourselves.

Spirit too has a good point. The way they are dressed, the colours used...these are all subliminal signals we pick up on even if we arent aware of it. This was defiantly set up to make people "fail" the test.

The homeless man one, although sad, also sets us up to fail. When we see a passed out homeless person it's usually associated with either drunkeness or sleeping rough (although being in the middle of the path is abit shocking). They are also unpredictable people due to mental health issues so again we are cautious to approach them.

I think the real shocking videos are those that come out of China of children that are hit by cars and left. They are often hit again and again before someone notices them.
