The lore of your toon (non RP and rp aswell i guess)

Unread post by ashdawn »

So I decided to make this to give my toon some lore and stuff, but not only in RP, just in general, if you want to post, feel free, just make sure if you update it you edit your thingy.

Long ago the 4 nations lived- no.

Long ago, king kael'thas sunstrider left through the dark portal just before I was born, my mother always spoke of the arcane magics and how kael'thas will come back. Due to our lack of mana at the time, I decided to learn ranged combat, so I became a hunter. I set out with a dragonhawk named dancy at the age of 13 to see if there was any way I could help kael'thas.

Soon after, I stumbled upon a place with ghostly trees and ravens everywhere. I noticed a small cave at this time, There was a fairly large bird's nest. In the nest there was a small chick bleeding, and the body of a dead raven (Which was huge) I raised this chick as my own companion. and eventually became my ground mount, Avis.

At the age of 20 I found a little worg pup, little did I know, he would follow me and become my greatest companion, I kept learning new things with dancy until one day, A nightelf Sealed her fate, outraged I sent my worg pup (Still not named) after the nightelf but she disappeared into the forest.

at the age of 24 the worg pup was healthy as we ventured into eastern plauge lands, at this point illidan was dead and arthas was taking over. we noticed some ghostly figures, little did I know they would stab my worg in the head, but he lived, and turned into a ghost worg, this made him faster which helped us on our adventures. a few months later I was sent to northrend to help gather supplys to fight the lich king, I heard some things about an old god near ulduar, on my way there, I fell into a deep jungle but I landed down a waterfall, here i noticed a little cub with its eyes and mouth closed, it looked like a snow leopard so I decided to take it to storm peaks due to the fact its must be a snow leopard, it opened its eyes and looked me in the eyes with her big brown eyes, I vowed I'd protect her until we got to storm peaks, my worg seemed to like this leopard quiet a bit, so I went to nessingwary and took a flight to storm peaks.

there was a big snowstorm as we got to the enterance of ulduar I wasnt allowed to pass through the gates, however I could feel yogg-saran, they sent me back to the tundra so i could gather supplys once again, I forgot about the leopard cub I was keeping in my bag so I flew back, as a bolt of lightning hit the mount, I dont remember much after this but my worg had flesh once again that was blue, and was surging with lightning all over, the cub's eyes had turned bright blue and were glowing, I decided to give them both names at this point, loki and skolly.

when I was 30 deathwing was attacking, I was sent to hyjal to help with the regrowth, I found the enterance to firelands on my travels and noticed a turtle that was wondering out of the regrowth, the turtle rolled down the hill and landed in a pool of lava, it came back up with a powerful jolt of lava and I decided to take him in as one of my own.

I remembered my childhood with nightelves, so I headed to zangarmarsh to learn about my king and the nightelves of the cenarion exposition. I learned that nightelves are good people, and so is the alliance. everyone seemed to have their goods and bads, thus making me a proud member of the horde as well as a proud friendly of the alliance. on my travels in zangarmarsh avis ran into a cave where we found an egg, the cenarions helped me rase it into a fully grown hippogryph which is now my flying mount (Which i dont have a name for, im currently thinking because i got this mount today)

This wasnt the end, because in the entire wrath of deathwing kael'thas came back in the magisters terrace (that was cata right? >.>) I decided to go in and maybe get some information from how everything happened, when I entered his guards attacked me, me, skolly and loki fought through as well as some other heros, when I tried to talk to him, he attacked me, and we did what we needed to, destroy my master.

at age 32 I was a trained soldier, a new island was found in the mist, the warchief sent me there to fight for it, we slayed monkeys and then I met a nice panda named cho. he explained a lot about the land, thus making me a less proud memeber of the horde... here I met someone named wrathion, the son of deathwing. he told me of the dangers my master had warned us about. he decided to truely train me, he trained me fully as I destroyed the sha of fear, the thunder king and soon. the most corrupted being in our land...

Garrosh hellscream.

Hoped you liked it, it was fairly cheese, thats why i dont do this stuff very often x3

I've written a few short backstories about how my hunter encountered some of his pets (kind of like you've done) in this thread, and encouraged others to do the same, but everyone kinda forgot about it. :?

I'll put my hunter's "lore" here sometime later. I like your hunter's story, by the way, and how it ties in with this expansion.

I was/am a Pandaren. So my story is..

When I was born, I was given the name LiWun. My mother was a beautiful woman. She had legendary connections with the four great celestial spirits of Pandaria, probably because she was a great and respected warrior as I later came to know. Aside from being a warrior, she was very elegant and had a lovely singing voice, lest i remember, if only in my dreams, her sweet songs to me. As for my father, I have yet to know who he was....

So my mother and father had always loved exploring, which gave them great opportunities when Liu Lang started journeying. On one of his great turtle, Shen-zin Su's visits, I was born in The Dawning Valley, then brought up to Morning Breeze Village. I remember my first breath, a sweet and tingling air you rarely find anywhere lest the Wandering Isle. We often would go back and forth from the Jade Forest to the coast and upon The Great Turtle. The Dawning Valley was my favorite place to go. Oh, how a small child as myself could delight in the island's Corsac Foxes! How I'd play with them amidst the hour, runninfg and prancing with them over the dew-moistened emeraldy grass, look for them in the brush where they hid, and just stroking them. And there was one single fox that I loved so dearly. I remember his glossy blueish white coat. And what a pretty tail he had! I was often advised by the adults of the nearby Wu-Song Village not to play with the wild foxes, but my mother understood the love in my friendship.
I was also a point of interest to Master Shang Xi, who passed one day. He seemed to find me someone who would be an extraordinary trainee as I read in his eye when he glanced.
In addition to my fox friends, I spent a lot of time at the Singing Pools, watching the graceful cranes stride in the crystalline water. Oft did they look at me, and I fed them fish when I was lucky enough to earn their interest. I swear I sometimes heard them whisper to each other in intrigue when I visited. And which also reminds me of an incident. I discovered the enchantment of the Crane Pool. I was sitting on the bridge beam when I tipped and fell in. I transformed into a Crane chick when I touched the water! How amusing it was to run around the pool like that! And when I stepped out of the water, I reverted back to normal. I even discovered that if I drank very small amounts of this water, I could be in the temporary form of a crane without having to stand in the pool. What amusing instances that came of that!

STORY CONTINUES ON NEXT POST:

My life took an extreme turn later on. It was a day after Liu Lang took off with his turtle island to search for more travelers and explorers, and left Pandaria, sailing away from the coast of the Jade Forest. I was somewhat sad that my fox friend couldn't come with me. He had to stay on the Wandering Isle. So before the great turtle left I tied a small pendant around his ne. with my little fingers. Nothing but a leather string bearing a hanging green stone with gold spirals. And that is what I left my animal friend before we departed.

So anyhow, lately a race best described as a person like insectoid called the Mantis had just sieged a more violent threat to Pandaria. In that week I saw my mother wear her combative uniform more often and as much as she consoled me that things would be alright when she held me in her arms at night, nothing could viel the worry in her voice. She told me how much she loved me, and that she would protect me at any costs. And she told me if anything were to happen, we would always be close together. I still have little jade crane doll she gave me.

I clearly remember hearing the door abruptly open and hurried footsteps rush to my bed. My mother shook me awake, and I remember waking up, my eyes' vision blurring into wake to see her face wrought with fear as i felt myself snatched up in her arms. I felt the movements of her torso and arms as she quickly ran with me. As she sailed out the door I felt the quick rush of cold air on my face and the rain that heavily poured and splattered. Her feet sloshed against the mud as she sprinted through the wet downpour. She clutched me and did not stop running. I fearfully turned my head to the side and saw bamboo whizzing past us. As she sailed through the bamboo forest with me, I squeezed her as I heard the approaching trek and clattering feet that could only belong to insects.

I looked up at the tense and ever so focused face of my mother. ''M-mother?'' I stammered hoarsely. She only gave me a moment's glance and said "Shh."

I felt a jerk as she stopped abruptly. We had come to the beach, after exiting the edge of the forest. I saw her soaked and dripping black hair whip around as her head shot in every direction, rushing to find an escape.

And far back in the woods came a fleet of giant creatures, with ugly, frightening faces like a praying mantis. I will never forget the faces of the Mantid.

Her wet ponytail swung around - as she turned to see the creatures gaining. She looked around in a frantic I never knew she could allow herself to. And there was nowhere.

She clutched me tightly, for what could have been too long, for the last time I would ever feel it. Nothing could keep the swelling water in her eyes. She quickly pulled over a castaway carrying cradle basket and put me inside. From all the fear and grief that molded her face, she managed a smile that still tears me to pieces to this day.

I reached out my little arms and wrapped them around her hand. "Mommy..."

"It's alright, LiWun. I love you."

Smiling as lovingly as she could hence the river of tears rolling down her face, she gently pushed me against the sand into the coming tide. Our hands were still locked. As the ocean started to pull me out, my hand slipped from hers, and slowly away from the shore I went...

Her figure was small as I drifted away, but I saw her leap to the side and swing her blade down in a battle with a mantid. It was a horrific sight for little eyes of only five years to see. She pierced it's eye in which it let out a gargly scream. It slashed her with the sword and her feet gave way thought she kept up once more with the following up of another blow severed to it's same eye.

Ever so frightened, I reached out my small arm to shout "MAMA!" over the roar of the waves. Then I saw it. She was knocked to the sand, and I saw the mantis hoist is spear up. He SWUNG IT DOWN AND...
Before I could ever see the fate of the scene, a huge wave swelled up in my view and pushed me with great force out into the ocean.
I never saw what happened. I pray I was thankful I didn't...but it was all too obvious what became of my dear mother whom I would never see again...

I cried, looking at and squeezing my crane doll. It spiked the grief all too much. The waves seemed to hear my weeping and gently rocked my somewhat of a boat.

Into the distance, I saw a huge something in the water. It came closer and closer. I was scared until I realized it was the great turtle. How huge he was for his beak tip to touch my hand! If I had anything to hope for, I could put my faith in liu Lang's turtle. A second later a cloud white crane clutched my basket in it's talons. With a great swell of air between its wings, it flew up rapidly, and soared me over the wandering isle. It gently let off my basket in the Dawning Valley.

So did my legacy begin.

TO BE CONTINUED...

So from there on out, I lived a life on the Wandering Isle. No one really adopted me, but everyone liked me and supported me. Basically though I lived outdoors. I slept on the grassy field in the Dawning Valley and gazed at the millions of dazzling stars at night. Which wasn't unusual, really. The environment was a perfect condition for such.
I sometimes slept on the bridge near the Singing Pools. The water glowed a soft aqua blue at night. The perfect soothe for sleep.
I played with everything and everyone. When I was up and about, I'd talk to the little frogs. Sometimes pick them up and hug them while babbling a conversation to them. I'd talk to the cranes at the Pools. I'd play with the Corsac Foxes. And thing is, I found my old fox buddy. And still with his friendship charm I gave him.
I would talk to the little turtles that would swim on the bottom of the stream. Yeah, I would pick them up and hug them too. I'd stroke their heads. I was unbelievably affectionate.

I grew older. When I was about seven..

TO BE FINISHED LATER ON. SOMETIME. WHEN I GET AROUND TO IT.
Yet unfortunately I added three paragraphs to this that didn't come through...and I'm too lazy to retype it all. XD

I don't RP, I'm not into the lore enough and I prefer to spend the little time I have for wow in other ways. All my characters have their distinct personalities, though, and the most favoured have their backstories.

Tamer Myrrmi, my main, the dwarven BM huntress, was born and spent her childhood in Hinterlands, among Wildhammers and their gryphons. Her father was a wildhammer gryphon rider, her mother was from the bronzebeard dwarves. In her teens, after her father death in battle, she returned with her mother to live with her side of the family near Loch Modan. It just happened that when they arrived, her grandpa, an ironforge marksman, was on a maternity leave for his she-bear to have her cub. Myrrmi fell for little Karhu immediatelly, and when he grew up a bit and was ready for combat training, she decided to become a marksman just to be able to keep him.

Starcaller Morlome, my nelf balance/resto druid, used to be a priestess of Elune. She changed her occupation when druidysm became available for nelf women, even though the change was very slight. Her alignment to the moon and stars was more of a druidic type to begin with.

My two draenei girls, a prot/ret pally and unh/blood DK, are twin sisters, different just by the shape of their horns. They used to both be pallies, but then, during a battle with the plague, the pally was struck unconscious and the DK was killed. Now, the pally doesn't really know about the DK being "alive", but can't get over her supposed death and keeps getting strange vibes about it. The DK checks on the pally from time to time, more out of sentimental curiosity than genuine caring, but never approaches her. She thinks of herself as being a completely different person after her revival, a creature of darkness, forsaken by the Light, for whom there's no place in her former life - but that's ok, she's got a new one now.

Finally, a very minor lvling alt of mine, that I barely play at all - worgen combat rogue. She grew up on Gilnean streets, a disastrously bad thief. Fortunately for her, she was quite tallented in running away and losing the pursuers. Thanks to this one skill she somehow managed to survived, but she knew she needs something else - so when the army was recruiting everyone they could, due to the breach in the wall, she joined, to serve as a scout and a spy. Then came the curse, which she took as a blessing - it gave her everything she was lacking and made her actually strong. And running wild... just... running wild... :)

I really only have some lore made up for my Night Elves and my Tauren, but I've never really given it a whole lot of thought. I think I might write some down later though. I like reading everyone's stories.

Besides my Pandaren, I've a little lore background for my female nelf druid too, Snowydeer.
In her other form as I will call it, (as a night elf.) She is completely white, hair skin and all.
She is the daughter of Elune's Stag Mount and Companion, Malorne.

Am in regret I named "Snowy" deer when whole background scenario connects my nelf to the Moon. lol.
So I represent her with, "the snow of life."
That's the best way I could improvise, since she is also, out of MY imagination, the guardian and the inheriting guardian/ patron of the forest and forest life.

So yeah. XD
