Cowmu, she DID buy a whole bunch of games with that money (which I don't have a beef with; that's one of the things she said she'd do with the money raised, so that's what people were partly giving the money for) -- and now she's taking other people's videos? That's not right.

I mean, it'd be one thing if she were critiquing the LPs themselves, then it's legit commentary, but if she's just taking the video rather than making her own that's lazy and jerkish.

Oh okay did not know that. Yup she's been using others videos in her show. Some people have asked the LPers if she asked them to use their vids and most of them did not even realise she had used them!

Honestly it's not hard to send a pm to someone asking them if you can use something I've done it before. The hardest part is the waiting!

Edit: thinking on it I don't think I want to watch Feminist Frequency anymore. It feels scummy in my eyes now.

Dumpster diving after work because BF decided to toss out MANY things he shouldn't have while moving...apparently even his step dad was getting mad at what he was tossing out...Thankfully my friend was helping pack while I was at work and she gave me the heads up...but I did NOT enjoy spending an hour in the dumpster sorting through stuff with a neighbor friend. I am just glad he was able to help me.

I sprang my ankle over a month ago, got an x-ray the next day didn't show anything, haven't been able to walk much or do anything sense then. My entire foot has been swollen, red, purple, and throbbing the whole time. I finally went back to the clinic yesterday and got another x-ray, I have a stress-fracture, tight tendents (my foot will only move up and down, no side to side or rolling ability), and there is atleast 1 bone chip floating around in my ankle. Why? WHY??? I just went down 2 steps, I don't want to be in a splint for months or worse have surgery for not looking down at the right moment.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Wtf who knocks on a WINDOW at 11pm!!? Not only did it scare the living bejesus out of me there was no way I was going to answer the door to you! My partner works away so yeah come back next swing crazy person. And if you are a neighbour you should know fucking better.

Let me just rant about the fact that I only ever come on this forum anymore to use the rant thread.
Hopefully I'll come back to WoW soon. I kinda miss my mount journal. D: And I miss WoW in general but I can't really afford the monthly sub right now. ;n;

T.T My design for a breed on DA didn't get accepted. I was really looking forward to RPing with this character to...Maybe sometime in the future he will make it into the official breed...

I wish people would learn what Steampunk really is before saying something is it. A lot of time it's other things like Dieselpunk or Teslapunk.

Steampunk is based around the 19th century. Mostly British Victorian era stuff. You know things that are steam powered!

I'd class BioShock as Dieselpunk because of the era it's set/based on.

So I have this one friend who either thinks that her opinions are facts or if the media has a positive opinion of something, you're not allowed to think badly of it.

I've never played the Last of Us and I probably never will due to what it is. A zombie survival. "THEY'RE NOT ZOMBIES THEY'RE <insert creature here that's basically a zombie but isn't just so it sounds more original>". To me it sounds unoriginal and boring. Yes, I have watched a walkthrough, or part of one at least. Admittedly the opening looked well played out, but from then on looked like a boring sneaking-past-zombies-or-blowing-their-heads-off game. Maybe the character design was good or something, idk, I didn't watch long enough to find out more than Joel was a grumpy grieving old guy.

So now that Amazon are doing a 'best game of the generation' competition, I linked it to my friend, since it's now down to the last round and it's her favourite game vs. mine. The Last of Us vs. Skyrim. I genuinely linked it as friendly competition, in fact, when I linked it, they were at 50/50 each so it looked like it was gunna be close. Now Skyrim's flying past it at 72%. I haven't said a word about it, but she decided to ignore the fact I showed her it, probably aware that her game wasn't going to win anymore. Ignoring me over the fact that her precious video game isn't going to win one little competition? Seriously? The Last of Us will probably end up making GotY anyway for whatever reason. (Personally I kinda wish Tomb Raider would win. It was an amazing reboot of the series.)

TL;DR: Don't understand the Last of Us hype, my friend can be a right stuck-up bitch sometimes.

Ugh, your friend sounds like she can be really annoying. >.< I really enjoyed watching a Let's Play of The Last of Us, but it didn't look fun enough to play- it just has a very neat, heartstring pulling storyline. It's done pretty well. But it really is just a zombie survivor game. Say what you will, the people are zombies. They died and now they're alive again. Fungus or not, that's a zombie.

Agreed, though I do think the twist they gave it was pretty creepy. That fungus is real. /shudder

I'm not going to lie, the Last of us is easily one of the best video games I've ever played. The story, the fighting, the art. Yeah, it's a zombie survivor, but it is far above being JUST a zombie survivor. I've never played a strictly zombie survivor that I thoroughly enjoyed, not even resident evil, but Last of Us is the first. Regardless of your friend's view, or your view of the game as just a zombie game, I'd recommend it, should you get the chance to play it.

I also think it was a better game than Skyrim, not by much, but I did enjoy it more. Skyrim felt so boring after a while, even when I rolled new alts. There are lots of games I like more than Skyrim however, KH, several FF games, Jak and Daxter, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, just to name a few.

Then, to make my post relevant to the thread; Why does it have to be so muggy in Nebraska? The sun isn't even out and it's like 90. BLAH

Aye Doctress that indeed was a good choice on their part. Chooseing something that is real okay maybe in bugs but it's still a real thing

I mean I foudn it better that they went "this fungus that infects bugs has transfered to humans now" instead of just making something up. I mean that shit does happen in real life, most of our big virues are from animals.

Tho I'd rather play The last of us over that Tomb Raider reboot. God that was a boreing game with a badly done story. Of course that's just how I felt the game was like *shrug*

I have to heavily disagree with Cow. I thought the new Tomb Raider's story was very well played out and I'm proud to say I've met the writer behind it. ^^ I planned to make a new-Lara cosplay for this year's Eurogamer but I'm running out of time and I don't have the money. Ah well.

People can suggest I play it all they want but really I wouldn't be able to because now all I can associate it with is my friend's claiming of 'BEST GAME EVA' and... no. It looks waaaaaaaaay too generic to be a best game ever. Plus zombie survival games don't appeal to me at all... unless it's Undead Nightmare. RDR. <3 And yeah, she can be very annoying, yet she continues to claim that I'm the whiny one. She once tried to hit me over something so trivial and afterwards she expected an apology off me. It was beyond ridiculous. She's sweet and fun 80% of the time but say one thing against her oh-so-precious opinions and it's END OF THE WORLD. Nothing could be worse than you voicing your personal opinion! Hopefully she'll be more tolerable now that I'm not living with her.

And on a side note I've been playing Skyrim for two years and I've not gotten bored. *shrug* I haven't even played the DLC yet!

I'd disagree with that. I found it generic as all heck and badly done.

So Lucy had a cat bite abscess and it had burst today hence why she had a huge chunk of fur missing. She has even more fur gone now as they had to shave her side so they could clean it out. But now she has this huge open wound and it's very yuck. (They can't stitch it up) It will scab over and the scab and the dead flesh will all out the vet said. :X It's so gross I can't even begin to explain the yuckness.

Big, long, angry and swear-filled rant ahead...

There's a difference between being strict and being a horrible rude bitch, and this new person my boss has hired is definitely the latter. I don't think I've ever had to deal with someone with so much of a better-than-you attitude. This person has worked this job before, but has been gone for a number of years, and the way business has been done here has changed. Yet, she still feels that the way she did it is the way it has to be done, and screw what everyone else has been told and taught. As an example of this, today one of my fellow employees (I'll call her Lisa) went to go clean out the self serve aisle - the one with cappuccinos and coffee and donuts, because I work at a sort of convenience store. She was going to wipe down the counters and take the trays back to the person doing dishes so that they could be washed, which is very much the person who does dishes job - I would know, I often do dishes. My boss told me that cleaning those trays was the person who does dishes job. We've also gotten told recently that regardless of who has what job, we still need to make the effort to make sure everything gets done, even if it means doing something we wouldn't normally do. However, the new person (I'll call her Grace) stopped Lisa and told her not to bring them back. Her reasoning was that it was too early in the night to clean them, which made sense because the place was open for a few more hours anyway, but also because it was neither Lisa's or the person doing dishes job, and that's how it has always been. Um... what? So I talked to Grace, saying that I believed that is was the person who did dishes job, and that the boss had informed me so. The exact words out of her mouth were " I've worked here before and it has always been someone who worked register's job. I just talked to the boss about it last night anyway, so you're wrong". That really ticked me off, so after she had left and my boss came in to check on us, I was about to bring it up to her - that our new employee was very rude (I wasn't the only person she managed to piss off - all the other employees there didn't seem to like her at all), and that she had basically told me and Lisa that something was not our job after we had just received the note about making work a group effort. What I got was my boss telling me that she was making Grace a supervisor to 'keep an eye on us', and after spending the day busting my ass working, she criticized my work the worst way she ever has and said that I don't do much. Really?. My boss has never talked like that before, even when being strict. Oh, turns out Grace is also best friends with my boss. No wonder she's getting promoted to manager after only three fucking days.

I don't care if I'm going back to college in a few weeks. I'm finding a job somewhere else even if it means I have to work crazy full-time hours and lose any chance at sleep. Just as long as I don't have to work there.

Again, a rant that has nothing to do with these forums. I just need to rant.

All you people are goddamn blind. Don't take his little "innocent, nice guy" act seriously. He is scum. While I have never talked to this person, and hope I never do, I've seen what he has done to my friends. I take this as a very personal issue. I know how it is. I had the same shit happen to me in WoW. Being stalked, harassed, and afraid to log on anymore is not fun. Even worse when no one will believe you, and the harasser's friends turn on you because YOU ARE THE BAD GUY here. Only way I got rid of my stalker was quitting WoW, and even then I still saw him posting on the forums bitching me out. Get fucking over it!

This drama is physically making me sick to my stomach. I wish I knew how to help my friends that have been affected by this jackass, but I can only sit here wishing I could just hug them and tell them everything will be alright. Even if I know everything won't be alright...

I know I shouldn't be pissed by this, but trying to hide this from me is not cool. It hurts when you ignore me, then vaguely say a few words when you do talk. I know I probably shouldn't be involved in this but I care about you.

Ugh, and I was having a great past few weeks. Life had been perfect. Of course, drama had to come up and remind me of past issues. Fuck this.
