Yeah, I had a feeling. But I don't much care about my Imp being gened, so hopefully I can get one at the lower end of the price spectrum. ; w;

I'm hoping for lower too (when i get to that point). I lucked out on my spiral I think. I paid 165k, and i saw similar colors going for much more than that. Most of those in that price range were non-gened, though i did see some good ones at a bit lower before.

I can only hope I get lucky and manage to get my Imp at a good price. Even if I have to pay them off over the rest of my lifetime if I don't have all the money at once ; A;

And on that note -- Dew, Qinni; I'm going to bed because I stupidly stayed up the entire night and I'm dying right now ngl so I should be on later tonight to dragon trade.
We still need to set a price too Qinni (we can just go the same route as Dew and say 7,500, unless you'd want to lower your price) but I'll just leave that for later because oh my god my eyes hurt.

Welp, since the site is down for maintenance, it seems like a good time to follow Mozag's lead from a couple dozen pages ago and pick my favorite dragons from everyone's lairs! I'm going by Makoes' list, so anyone on there is going on here.

Blackpearl: Iraia's pale wings are absolutely gorgeous against her dark body, and I have an enormous weakness for shimmer on shades of yellow and orange.

Mochitora: Your new baby Kahlua almost won this one, but Macchiato is still my favorite of your bunch! I've never seen another tundra like her, and she's just beautiful.

Makoes: Styx's subtle circuit is what sold me on him. He's a perfect example of how beautiful it can be.

Aleutian: Flora's light, lovely colors won me over the moment I stepped into your lair.

Nefretiti: This was such a difficult decision, because your dragons are all awe-inspiringly beautiful, but Raven... perfect wings, perfect eyes, perfect colors, perfect everything.

Werewolf: Holly. I have a strange, strange weakness for dragons with obsidian primaries and pink secondaries, and she's a female guardian, therefore awesome by default!

Azunara: Zach. I'm always excited to see tangerine anywhere, since it seems to come up so rarely, and seraph looks incredible on pearlcatchers.

TygerDarkstorm: Pumpkin is such a cutie! I love her pretty stripes and matching eyes.

Sarai: Daenerys. I feel like I shouldn't even have to explain this. Another dragon that's perfect in every way.

Rubybeam: This nameless lady tundra has such unusual, interesting colors. My eyes were drawn to her right away.

LupisDarkmoon: For some reason I couldn't get his thumbnail to show as anything but his hatchling self, but VERN, OMG, you have no idea how much I love Vern. I go to your lair to gawk at him on a regular basis, it's ridiculous, really.

SylviaDragon: BlackWarGreymon. The name might have won it for him if his incredible good looks hadn't grabbed me the second I saw him. Again, my male Ridgeback weakness shows itself...

Morbid: Mysteriously could not get a thumbnail of Zhale, either, but Zhaaaale! Spirals are my favorite breed, and Zhale is a flawless example of one. High, high hopes for his babies with my black/jungle lady pearlcatcher.

Magnakilro: Agreeing with Mozag on this one. I like shadow plenty to begin with, but red-eyed Poison is especially fabulous.

Mozag: Another case of hatchling thumbnail... Lucinda won, barely, but Scourge, Mephisto, Kyrie, Toxie and Leonora made it SO HARD, let me tell you. I just... spirals are my favorite overall breed, but I think female pearlcatchers are my favorite dragons, period, and Lucinda's red wings and mane are ridiculously beautiful and striking. I think her necklace tying her all together is what got me in the end!

Slenderman: Like Iraia, Faron's pale wings against his dark body get me, and, again, matching eyes. Can you tell I'm a sucker for matching eyes?

Miacoda: Memory. *WORDLESS FLAILING*.

Leashedragon: This list would be a lot better if all the thumbnails would work. Anyway, Winteria! Zurie's wings are striking, but the world needs more gorgeous, blue-winged ice guardians, I think.

TheLimeOfDoom: BodaciousBob. Okay, let's be honest, he's a handsome dragon, but this is at least 50% for his name.

Taarnfalk: Another case of the non-functional thumbnail. I really thought it would be Luke, but Tatalia has to win this one. I think I just love uniquely-colored female tundras too much.

failefayce: Marco! Male Ridgeback! Jade wings! Dark body! <3!

Murinae: *opens mouth. closes mouth. opens mouth again* I don't even know what to say about this, but Roseus is definitely my favorite. Nergal and Cauthorn and Xavtumal are all more to my regular tastes, and Roseus's colors aren't my usual thing at all, but somehow he just... works!

Luperca: Shadowsteps. White-eyed. Pure obsidian. Female guardian. WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE?

Nachtwulf: I suspect Halakka will be my favorite when she grows up, but until then, Osharah takes the cake, absolutely. You can't go wrong with some combination of black and red.

Safrienaer: Rose is another case of a dragon appealing to me through total uniqueness. I've never seen another dragon with her colors. They look great together!

Spacequaggan: Shakkenzus. Am I getting predictable yet? Sorry! Truly a beautiful dragon. One of my favorites, period.

Preycheirus: Kirin's leaf wings against her white skin and platinum fur are extremely striking and interesting.

Dewclaw: I almost picked Rosethorn--I just bought a guardian that looks almost just like her!--but Nicodemus has an angelic look about him that I adore utterly.

Draek: Eranikus's shades of blue are a little dark for my usual tastes, but something about him is entrancing. Really lovely boy.

Chimera8: Hurricane has colors that I always hope to see on dragons and almost never do! Orange and blue can be so interesting together, and he pulls it off very well.

Shay: Nyx is easily the most regal fae I've ever seen. Definitely a beautiful lady.

Naiy: Roshan is amazing enough as he is, but then I take his apparel into account and he just completely kills me. Love, love, love.

Akiralios: Yin. It's hard to say no to a black and white tundra.

Falconschild: Eiddig, easily. Ohhh, that royal shimmer. *_* Words fail me.

Varethyn: Fidda's subtle colors and perfect matching apparel are beautiful! I've always had a hard time appreciating that particular jewelry set, but it looks wonderful on her.

Kirrandria: Rhayde's iri/shim is fascinating! She looks so tough and metallic. I love it.

Megan: Isabo. Nadira is fantastic, as well, and she takes first place if you don't count skins, but Isabo's skin, wowww.

Bulletdance: Diablose. Bloody-colored dragons are another weakness of mine.

Eternallylostx: I don't even NEED to see Caelria as an adult to know she's my favorite. Green-eyed obsidian pearlcatcher is enough for me.

Koneko: I'm listing Shade, but it's an even tie between her and Guinevere. Don't make me choose. I can't take it. ;_;

Raera: Euriona reminds me of something I can't quite place... a hidden, mossy temple, maybe. She has a very dignified beauty about her.

Tazzay: I don't know if Beatrix is an FFIX reference or not, but either way I love her for the resemblance. She's beautiful on her own, too!

Aspencrown: And once again I cannot get the thumbnail, but Maitane, Maitane, Maitane. Pale, purplish tundras get me every single time.

And that's it! Ohhh my god that took forever. I wish thumbnails weren't being obnoxious. But it was fun!

Awweee <33 I love Hurricane, so happy I didn't pass him up when a friend offered him to mah He does have great colors, very tropical (he's named after the drink 'Hurricane' which I thought was amazingly fitting for his colors, clan, and breed ;3)

I'd love to do this kinda list thing but with so many of your lairs having such gorgeous dragons, I'd probably end up grabbing picks of like, several from each lair XD Everyone has such prettiful dragons~

By the way, if you're on Makoes' list, you ARE on there, I swear! I just could NOT get all the images to work. *grumble*

That was an enjoyable read, I love compiling and reading lists (*is currently passing the FR:less time by listening her way through Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers list* )! Your descriptions made all the dragons feel so special, and that you really gave them a good looking over; making us, in our turn, glow with pride.

I so wish everyone would do this, just so I could spend my time reading them.
And I absolutely love to see how everyone has such different tastes!

Ah, I don't know if there's an easier way to do it, but I did it like this! When you open up a dragon's picture and look at the URL, the URL will look something like this:

http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/835/83443_350.png?1375646935

To change a dragon's image into its thumbnail, you remove the red parts above and add the blue part below:

All of the numbers except the 350s will be different for every dragon, but the format will be the same.

Another way to do it is: In the lair view where you see all the dragons, just right click on the image of the dragon you want, then click "copy image location." Paste the link and put the [img]linkhere[/img] around it and it will show the thumbnail version.

Well.. nevermind about that. Just tested it and it seems it doesn't work anymore since they updated the images it seems. ><

16 hours and counting that I've seen. Went down before rollover last night, I try to log in at noon, read that they went back down around 4am, and now they have no idea when they're gonna be up :/
