Mount Acomplishment Thread

Getting this mount involved tears, frustration, patience and going from signing up as dps, to signing up as tank, to finally organise my own events. Ambershaper heroic.... it took 4 raid evenings of just wiping on him alone.

Without openraid and some of my guildies, this would not have been possible. It was the hardest goal I set myself out to get, and I am infinitely happy, that it's finally over. And I met some new friends along the way too!

I finally got my Ravenlord!

It's wednesday, I have a week of holidays from work. I'm done with my browser games and forget that it's supposed to be downtime in Wow. I logg in and see that my main server still is down for maintenance. I logg into my alt-server that's already up again. Only about 4 people are online. I'm bored and decide to start with my daily run of Sethekk Halls. And with this run, number 85, he finally drops for me. I couldn't believe my eyes at first, thought the purple just belonged to one of the gems that like to troll me. But it's true and he is mine!

Thank you Castile! He was the one I truly was hoping for. I had put other farms first (like azure drake and white hawkstrider) because I didn't want to be disappointed if he didn't drop with under 100 runs. I had done farmruns for him already during Wrath of the Lichking and never got lucky. So I put the runs off. Farmed Blue and Azure, the hawkstrider and Onyxia, but then I just HAD to do it. I'm really happy. 85 runs over 4 toons isn't that bad.

So, I plopped my Monk in Deepholm while I was playing another game early this afternoon.. and about 2ish hours in.... BLAM!



Not long after, I decided to try soloing TK on my Monk (I had been doing it for 13 weeks on my Lock) and what do I see.. ASHES BABY!



There goes my good luck for the next 3 years.

I think so! I figured it would be a bad day yesterday, considering an Unborn Val'kyr killed itself earlier when I was farming for it ;-;

Thank you! But I don't actually play WoW anymore. At least not for now, I'll probably come back one day. I already have Aeonaxx though. ^^

I just got my swift armored razzashi raptor after only 11 runs on 3 toons (so in fact after only 4 days of farming). I did my runs on hunters, timing the first snake trap and then burning him down after the rezz. Now only Kilnara has to leave me one of her kitties.
The raptor will be my Orc's new ground mount. The green and red just match his skin and hair so good.

I think it's my lucky mount-week. I just got my Deathcharger after only 10 runs. But it's about time I had some luck. White hawkstrider and ravenlord really were giving me a hard time. I'm also still doing Zul'Gurub runs for the panther. Kilnara I'm looking at you! Next on my list is the wind drake from Vortex pinacle.

I was chatting with Moila when the Deathcharger dropped. I didn't have any hopes, just did the last run before lockout and then there's something purple in the loot window. At first I was thinking about some rare weapon, but it looked like a horse. When I realized what it was I was shaking so hard, I hardly could learn it (and made lots of typos writing something like OMGGGG!!1!!111 to Moila). That was a holiday well spent on mountfarms.

So i was in Random dungeon earlier with my baby monk! And i saw the unthinkable drop!!



I was shaking Hoping to win it!! After years of farming and never seen it drop before!
But i only rolled a damn 16! And lost

So i decided to run some more runs on Moila so i think i ran about 15 runs and it dropped!! Again today! Now its finally mine!!
