We subconsciously or consciously chose ones that were more interactive, more compliant and had forward-pointing eyes, like us. And a dog is what we ended up with. They're by far the oldest domestic animal. The last estimate I read was at least 15,000 years, which is is why they show greater diversity than pretty much any other animal.

In WoW, humans evolved as Vrykul "runts". Vrykul have dogs, so presumably humans took some into exile.
so i had the EVO from wolves right then.yay! do i get a cookie?

but on topic i would say that maybe to not go to crazy with breeds we can make the dogs that are more close to wolves at the start and we can slowly work tords those that are the least wolf like.

I really hate the mastiff model... its so ugly and I HATE the fact it has cropped ears (which is illegal where I live).
Would really like a different dog model other than these and the demon dogs (which I do like, but they don't really look like beasts :P).

I would love to see a Collie type dog (particularly a black and white border collie) - even though its personal bias speaking, wouldn't it be cool to see them herding the sheep around Elwynn forest? xD

Would also love any wolfy looking dog (huskies, german shepherds etc), and some type of hound (foxhound / wolfhound perhaps?).
