Horrible pet bug on Magaera

Blink strikes may cause raid wipes on this boss; though I've only encounted it once. My pet teleported up behind the head I was attacking, and then fell forever.
A few minutes later, my pet comes running back, with several mobs running after it, causing a raid wipe.

I know that putting your pet in passive usually fixes the stuck problem, but it happened kind of very fast. I got kicked for it too ;-;

This is a very well known pet pathing bug. Unfortunately my guess is that it probably won't be be fixed any time soon, as the next patch is getting close.

Only suggestion I can make is that hunters with Blink Strike switch talents for this particular fight. It is a little inconvenient but sometimes you do have to switch glyphs or talents to suit certain fights. In this case, a few silver are worth not causing a wipe IMO.

Actually Blizzard is asking people to report exact locations of pathing bugs for pets so that they can fix the issue...Since the pathing bug is very situational there is not general hotfix for it, but if players report where the pathing issue occurred, and when, and any other info about the individual incidents, they can see about fixing that particular pathing issue.
