I feel like i owe an appoloty.. ive been non abstent alot but there have been some troubles at home with my kid...

She has been quite and not wanting to talk for almost two weeks now...

Turns out she have had some trouble being bullied at her school... Alot of the other kids have been teasing her with her looks cause she has down syndrome.. and the fact that she likes purple.

She´s been crying and feeling real low self confidence...

and heres another twist...

the teasing about her liking pink and purple have apparently lead her to sell all her purple and pink dragons.. including the onces she have been giving from you guys..

for that im sorry and i got some treasure to give back to those who gave dragons to her .. just ping me and i send you a chunk.

That's not good Lorelei

I hope the teachers and principal will take steps to ensure that the school is a safe place for all kids. Bullying is NOT nice, or acceptable behavior, and I hope that the parents of the children will also get a talking to about that!
I know the schools where I am have adopted a zero tolerance to bullying, and the children seem much happier and helpful to each other because of it.

Also, I hope that we can re-build your daughters lovely lair of pink and purple dragons. One should never feel bad about loving things like that!!

she will stop playing i think.... she´s been throwing out all her pink my little ponies too and her toys cause the kids saying she is childish for having them...

i should maybe get her into a special class.. but it cost alot of money and we can first start to work in Denmark a year from now.... so until then she has to be in a normal public school.. hard for a kid with disabilities

But...I am 27 and have My Little Pony toys!! Your never to old for toys! or the things you love!! I hope there is a way that she can learn that. Are you able to speak to the school about the issue? Schools should be a safe place for all children.

I just want to give her a great big "hug: and tell her that those children are wrong, very wrong!

Lorelei just gone into their room again..

yeah its been really hard on them.. having 1 room and a very upset girl..

We all been trying to asure her that there is nothing wrong with her.. but she KNOWS she is different and she is sad because of it...

I try to do all i can to tell her that being different isnt bad but she has seen how ppl react to me cause i look different then the "normal" ppl.. i have always been strong and im trying to teach her to have selfconfidence and not care about the stupid kids... but its hard when your 14 and wanna have a normal boyfriend.. and cannot get one cause your mental health is like 10...

Children are extremely cruel, unfortunately. I hope she can eventually get to a special needs school where she won't feel so left out and "different".
I wish we could live in a world where these things wouldn't be a consideration, but they are, and she needs to be around people who won't judge her for having her condition.

Then again, 14 isn't an easy age for anybody, regardless.

and lorelei wanted to remind those who gave my niece a dragon that she is willing to throw a chunk of money their way beacue she sold them all or exhalted them.. not really sure what she did tbh.. all i see now is different dragons... only onces kept are Tequilla, Pearl and Pinkiepie...

i will watch it then show it too her.. but if its in English she wont understand it

.. we have some good Danish movies too and even a special person on the school who helps her.. but its not the same as a special need school....

@Lorelei; I have a friend who said she'd like to draw one of her favorite dragons to help cheer her up so I sent them a pic of Perle :3 She draws really well, likes doing soft lines and colors, and is a big fan of eye searing neon kinds like Perle's magenta wings so there should be something super prettiful for her soon. It's night for me (2am) but the artist is same timezone-ish as you guys so with luck the pic'll be done by your guy's late evening/nightish

I truely hope they can do something about it because She's such a sweetie and She's not just different, She's unique and wonderful just the way she is

As for the dragons I think most of us would happily help her rebuild should she chose to return at some point

I'm late since i was asleep, but Lorelei, I'm awful sorry that your wonderful daughter is being bullied.

I know how that feels and it's just the most crushing thing in the world. I hope she knows how much all of us love and support her here and that we think she is such a beautiful person. I'm 23 and only just realizing that you're never too old for the stuff you love in life (especially for certain special needs kids where they're mentally younger than their physical age). Im a fan of My Little Pony: FiM, I'm an avid video gamer, and i still have a deep affinity for coloring and stuffed animals--youre never too old for the things you love.

Should she wish to play the game again once she gets her confidence back we will happily help her rebuild her lair; it was so wonderful knowing that a beautiful little person out there loved all those pink and purple dragons that most others passed on.

Much love from the fiance and i; he has an autistic son so i can relate a little.

I just saw the bullying post. Please ask her to reconsider her stance. No one should give up things they love because of a bully.

thanks again all.. its hard cause her body is 14 and so is her homones but her mind is 10 and cannot undrestand why her body is acting the way it is... and she want a boyfriends just because every girl in her class have one.. i´m not sure she understand what it means to have one.. she just wants to be popular..

we are all doing our best to cheer her up and try to make her believe in herself but its hard....

Rerailing myself back on topic. xD Need some advice from you guys. Had a couple of pairings I wasn't totally satisfied with so I'm doing a bit of rearranging. Which pairing do you guys think seems more appealing: Santiago and TigerLily or Santiago and Skye?

Greens and yellowish colors aren't normally my thing (which is why I think I'm torn) but since these are dragons I'm looking to sell and not keep I wanted to get outside opinions.
