Yes, it is a shame about having to exalt, but there's really no point selling any normal hatchlings as the situation is, so I wait for them to grow up (unless space becomes an issue), level them to 4 or 5 and then exalt them away. They will be warm and comfortable with the Mother of the Flames.

There's so few because skydancers are the same level of rarity as imperials, which means pairing them with anything but themselves and wildclaws will yield few to no skydancers.

Their CD should be longer than that. If not then lucky us. But someone around here linked a thing where it said they're an uncommon breed which puts them on the same rarity as imperials. They're also considerably more expensive than common breeds.

Yes, it's 25 days. So if you pair them to an Imp, you are likely to get Skydancers I guess. When paired to a Wildclaw, then you are likely to get SDs. Anything else (except to each other obviously), and you are not likely to get SDs.

Don't feel that way, Vare. Your new skydancer is extremely gorgeous and if you still want to have that pairing, then keep them that way. I just wanted you (and others) to know why there were so few skydancers in the mix. I'd hate for someone to feel like they wasted their 400kt because all of a sudden they're not getting skydancer babies because they paired it with a less rare dragon. But if that's the pair you want, then do whatever makes you happy. Nobody is trying to put you down or beat you for being excited.

Oh that's not the point, Vare! We just don't want you to be disappointed if you don't get any SDs! Hopefully you'll get super lucky and they'll pop out anyway. The fact that they even show up on the previews is a good sign.

Actually, I was just looking at some of the babies on the AH, because I wanted to see what certain genes looked like on SDs. And I found a baby, who had hatched from a PC/SD nest. Two PCs and one SD, so let's keep our fingers crossed and hope you make one.
