Didn't get my gem, only got 10 gathering turns (got an Ice Egg though.. hatched into a Coral/Maroon boy oh dear god why). Pinkerton worked, though. Not sure how they broke gathering turns or the daily rewards, but hope it gets fixed soon.

Lol sorry. I can be patient with everything else, but the, "Your nest will hatch tomorrow!" crap...arghhhhh...it boils me blood.

I only had 10 gathering turns AND on top of that I had put a reserve down for a Skydancer. I changed my mind though and asked for my 50k back. I was told they don't "do" refunds and that its always been in their rules. I specifically remember it NOT being there because I don't EVER put down a reservation if I cant get a refund on my money. I checked the thread over and its there now but it wasn't before and I know that FR wouldn't help with it because they expect people to be honest so its frustrating.

It would help me afford this girl I saw last night and really wanted.. /sigh

I hope.. there was a girl I REALLY wanted in the AH but I cant find her anymore.. I truthfully think they should too, I understand asking for a fee for reserves but you shouldn't keep the money if I decide I don't want the product >.<

NO real dominance fight this week... usually it helps with the hatchling prices but the ah is filled with 4-5k starter babies

so much for hoping to make a little more dime out of dominance... most ppl dont want to borther because pleague had so little benefit from their week due to maintance and bugs and all

i HAVE to stop discussing with ppl on the forum who all think the economy is just fine and dandy...

I HATE when they tell me that im stupid for wanting to gene and breed change my dragons when i could just buy a cheap one of ah and scatter them...

but its MY dragons.. i kinda LIKE them and ive bonded with them!

and 80 pages of dragons from 6 k and BELOW!! no good selling dragons for 7-8k this saturday

I hear you Tarn, I've noticed quite a few folks getting shouted down whenever they try to bring up concerns about the site. I get that we all love the game and want it to succeed... but being realistic about a problem isn't the same as attacking the site or admins. It's like a 'feel-good mafia' that jumps on any thread that they interpret as negative and tries to force positive perspective on folks.

This probably goes back to when a bunch of folks were getting incredibly negative about the downtime, and folks split between unreasonable positivity and unreasonable frustration. Good luck having reasonable discourse with those as the two sides >_<

It's painfully clear my dragons/lair are boring. I only have 4 "special" dragons that I can do little with since they have stupidly long breeding CDs. The rest, almost all basic starters, were picked because I thought I could interest people with popular colours. For the most part it worked in the earlier days, which even then was difficult cos I'd started later than most. Lately though, especially with the economy crash, I get lucky if people even look at them.

Don't get me wrong, I personally love my dragons. But I have no plans. No goals. I work towards things that I think people would like because I love helping people. So when no one even looks at my offers it saddens me greatly that my dragons are going to be exalted. Sure I get more than exaltation price if I put them on the AH for others to exalt, but they're still exalted. I've kept more than enough of the ones I deemed pretty as is. I can't keep hoarding them because of this small hope someone will take them and make something with them. Even the new blood doesn't take them, or maybe just doesn't get there in time because the low prices of basic starters make them exaltation targets.

I know a lot of people already have a lot of dragons they're happy with. I realise it'd be easier to buy an already gened dragon for a third or less of the price it takes to start from scratch... but if no one wants my dragons I have little reason to play. Which hurts more because I have little else to do as of late. I want to help people get things they want. I want my dragons to be loved. Yet when I post an offer someone else comes along with something shinier and I'm forgotten.

This isn't me forcing you guys to buy my dragons. It's been bothering my paranoid brain for a while so I just wanted to get this off my chest.

The economy is a mess though, and to be honest I'm not sure if it's even possible to fix it at this stage. Revamping the Exalt feature might be one of the only ways, and they need to do a lot of changes to make it worthwhile. Right now we have a basically unlimited supply of new dragons flooding the market, and their numbers increase exponentially, whereas users are finite and so are lair spaces as people reach the stage where they can no longer afford to buy the next expansion. More and more users are settling down with the dragons they desire and not wanting or needing to buy more, so we're just going to continue to see the prices drop as people get desperate to sell. There just isn't as much of a market anymore and I honestly have no clue how they're going to remedy it at this stage.

I don't mean to sound all negative, it's just frustrating that the aspect which should be the main focus of the game is becoming obsolete. Why breed when there aren't really buyers left?

That's what I've been trying to tell people; there is way too much supply. They need to add more incentives so that exalting doesn't seem like such a bad last resort.

I've also gotten shouted down for saying people shouldn't be dropping the price of Imperials or giving them away for free so much to the newbies, because where's the fun in that? Where's the goal? And apparently I'm elitist or some shit. Lol okay dudes...

Yeah, that's what I meant! If there's nothing to achieve, what's the point of playing? Raffles are okay, and I'm all for people winning prizes, even Imps. I just think it's gotten ridiculous lately.
