Rofl. Wrathion is something else. I'd like him more if he'd stop his genocide.

I know right? Like, killed all his siblings then killed a whole bunch of other people. And it's wierd I still strangely feel the same about him.
And somehow, I think he's too professional to have a girl whatsoever. XD

Professional? Hardly...he's just a whelp. He's not sexually mature to care about females. When he's older, his mind will change as it does for all males.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Wrathion has a thing for Anduin.

Re: Me and my Wrathion fangirling...
No offense but just because people ship that couple doesn't make it true. Blizzard hasn't stated that's the case and until then you can't speak about it as if it is factual as only Blizzard knows for sure. For all everyone knows right now they're just friends(kinda)and even that statement I'm finding questionable given how Wrathion speaks of Varian in the new sound files.pop wrote:Sorry to burst your bubble but Wrathion has a thing for Anduin.
I understand people can ship it if they wish but just because you ship something doesn't make it true.

That's a fan shipping. That is not canon. I believe it's your bubble that's been burst.pop wrote:Sorry to burst your bubble but Wrathion has a thing for Anduin.

^ This...so much. Yaoi fangirls ruined A LOT of stuff for me and are sometimes more rabid than those of Twilight(and that's saying a lot....)Myrrmi wrote:Yaoi fangirls - the one and only thing in this world more dangerous and destructive than LJ in a whelpcavepop wrote:Sorry to burst your bubble but Wrathion has a thing for Anduin.

Woah. While I can't read her thoughts I think Pop was meaning that in a humorous way. I don't think she meant to assert it as a fact. Dry humour is is often funnier than someone who sticks a "lol" after a joke.
Before I read her post I had been planning to post "back off girls, he's Anduin's!"
From memory even Blizzard bought into the joke. I remember some notes saying "Anduin seems kind of turned on" or something like that.

and there was this"Legendary 5.2 - Chapter 11 - Thunder King Finale - DGK [include] “Cinematic Framework” [2]: 10216 “— Wrathion eats the heart of the Thunder King — This is gross but I think Anduin is a little turned on by it."

Re: Me and my Wrathion fangirling...
It didn't come off like that. At all. The way she stated it sounded like a fact, like it was canon. A lot of people are fed up with other people saying it's canon when it most definitely is not and likely never will be.Wain wrote:Woah. As for blue posts, I never saw anything of the sort.....and if they did, I wanna slap them. Yaoi fangirls don't need to be fed. They already ship Thrall/Garrosh, Thrall/Varian, and other such and try to declare those canon too.
Also on that note, I don't find it funny because of the yaoi fangirls. So...yeeeah....I think I'm being redundant now. XD

Re: Me and my Wrathion fangirling...
I think "yaoi fangirls" is a ridiculous blanket term to use in relation to male/male pairings, especially when said characters don't even originate from anime/manga.
Some people enjoy it, some don't. No big deal! Blizzard gave a couple nods towards it, if it's not your thing then it's not your thing. *shrug*

It's what they call themselves so don't blame me for it.Vephriel wrote:I think "yaoi fangirls" is a ridiculous blanket term to use in relation to male/male pairings, especially when said characters don't even originate from anime/manga.![]()

Thus feeding them and making them think it's canon cause heaven forbid a few dudes just be friends and not in bed together.

Thrall and Varian hahaha thats abit of a stretch isn't it?? Can't believe anyone would make that connection...ever!Junrei wrote:As for blue posts, I never saw anything of the sort.....and if they did, I wanna slap them. Yaoi fangirls don't need to be fed. I dunno I always saw Anduins character as the great "bridge" between the factions. Giving the Tauren Paladin's and the hammer in The Shattering helped relations with the horde and the whole bell questline with the pandaren, Wrathypoo's just seems like another race hes building diplomatic relations with and to be honest I think the least of the flights you want to piss off is the black one haha!!
He could be abit of swinger but I don't think he'd get his mojo on with a dragon, we already have Jaina doing that. Since his a priest hes better suited to a warrior partner, someone that can swing some metal for him in times of need...

Re: Me and my Wrathion fangirling...
I know, right? It's nuts! I'm just like "wtf?!" I've even seen Thrall/Sylvanas, which is really out there too. Some odd pairings. Don't get me wrong, I like seeing the good art some people make, even if I don't support the pairings but the pairings just make me raise an eyebrow at times.Castile wrote:Thrall and Varian hahaha thats abit of a stretch isn't it?? I agree. I'd say it's more diplomatic than anything. Pretty sure playing chess with someone and talking to them a little doesn't mean it's instant funtimes in the bedroom. Wrathion and Anduin seem a bit...hm...too naive yet for such things. Wrathion is like...what....2 years old? Which is infantile as far as dragons go. Anduin's 16 or some such. A bit of cradle robbing there too ontop of that! Most dragons tend to stick with their own kind, as far as WoW's lore has shown. The only one I know offhand that's had some odd relations is Kalecgos.
Hehe. Or maybe a pretty draenei priestess he met in the Exodar. Classmates! I think that'd be cute.
Aside from all that, I think we derailed the thread a bit as it's supposed to be about Wrathion alone, not random wow pairings. XD
