Bowno, I recommend looking into Comodo Antivirus. Extremely reliable and totally free. I torrent stuff from time to time and it's kept me safe. Also I never torrent anything unless kickasstorrents.com tells me it's legit. ^^;

avg antivirus is also free if you choose the basic pack...

and i NEVER let anyone but my husband touch my computer cause i dont wanna risk it

I used to have AVG but AVG doesn't give squat for protection with the basic pack unless you pay for it. That's the downside. It used to be good a few years back but now all they care about is making you pay. Almost as bad as McAfee.

AVG used to be a great program, but I gave up when it got all bloated and crappy.

If we're tossing out recommendations, Avast is an excellent free antivirus program.

Avast is good, yeah. My fiance had that and he loved it. He has Comodo now on his new computer but Avast is definitely a good one I can vouch for.

Oh wow. Thanks for the suggestions. I managed to take care of the Malware and Virus crap he gave me with a few of the things you guys suggested. \o/
Never downloading anything from him again.

Also ugh. McAfee. It took my family forever to get rid of that. xD! It used to be so good! Same with Norton.. But now they're so.. bleh. D:

Norton and McAfee are practically viruses within themselves. They purposely try to force you to install them on your computer. Hell, my father in law uninstalled McAfee. McAfee somehow reinstalled itself.

Someone I met today told me that going to animation school was pointless as you can learn all you need from online tutorials and be just as good and get a job etc and that's total bullpoop. It just is.

Online tutorials don't tell you what you are doing wrong, they can't point out your mistakes. They are more like helpful tips to help you learn not a substitute for a tutor.
