But I have found a new mate to my created progen, Raith who is Midnight/Tiger/Crimson Eye Spots/Slate. They will make clone colored Imperials. I can't resist ;A;. But I only have 77k/400k and only like one week, two if she is willing to extend it, to get him. But he's sitting in a Crossroads for me right now, waiting patiently with those adorable massive green eyes and chubby cheeks. I'll get you one way or another my precious, one way or another.

Personally I've seen very few people holding dragons which give different and sensible colour..

And while you can't tell people to stop breeding dragons because their colours don't make sense

WHY should someone else dictates what colors are sensible....... WHy should there be a color code to say this dragon is pretty ; this one is not due to color..

what if someone like that color

Yeah, seriously. This so much. I happen to like dragons with green and purple (except violet because violet's icky orange belly is bleh) but that's considered an 'unattractive' combo. Or at least people must think it is because I've bought some really sexy green and purple dragons for really ridiculously cheap.

Hell, I don't even like orange as a rule but when I saw this lady on the AH I couldn't help myself. She is gorgeous, like an autumn leaf.


And for that matter, Qinni likes brown dragons even though most of the site apparently thinks 'earth tone' = 'mud fence'. I think Qinni's coffeedragons are lovely. So bleah. People are dumb, yo.

two of the skins chosen would've much better fit plague (which is next month, anyway) than arcane. and they didn't even pick the best skins that were thrown at them??? i'm baffled. there were some seriously superior skins that were passed over and only given an honourable mention that were ACTUALLY in theme.

I felt the same way, Aela. I saw lots of really amazing skins that were entered and almost none of them got chosen. Otis and I think they should start letting users vote on the skins for the contests or something because there's quite a few they pick that are only meh and don't always fit the theme as well as it could.

the thing that bothers me most is like... plague's holiday is NEXT MONTH? i didn't choose plague for a REASON. despite the fact that i'm completely fine with getting blood drawn and whatnot, cuts and body parts and wounds gross me out. i chose the sparkly, magical flight, not the gore one. i'd rather our skins reflect that.

then again, i felt that many of the skins submitted were subpar compared to usual....

(i think a user vote would be nice, but i also feel like it wouldn't help much with things being on topic. the fae and the mirror were both extremely popular.)

Well I mean, the brain one does make sense. Even though it's a little creepy, Arcane is a very intellectual flight so I'm sure the brain is a very important organ to them so I can see it being chosen just for the recognition of that aspect of the Flight.

sort of? except there were skins that displayed that same understanding in a more symbolic sense, which would've made more sense, that were also excellent and passed over. then again, people seemed to be very all over the place with interpretation of the prompt this month. i'm guessing because "arcane" isn't as easy; there's no element to go off of for it, so it's harder to decide exactly what arcane IS.

i dunno. i'm not sure what the mods themselves really know what they define arcane as. there was no clear pattern to what skins won, unlike in previous contests.

apparently brown earthy dragons are ugly in most eyes. im lucky i got what i have because most are exalted too.

Why does Crim even ask for breed change/gene scrolls. She pays a fraction of what they're worth and believe me, if someone scrimped up 300k for a scroll they will NEVER sell it off for like... 3k or whatever she offers.
