For him.. Tiger all the way. Don't keep a gene because its "expensive" if you don't like it. If you want tiger babies then make him tiger. It's your call but I think you already decided for yourself what you want to do when you stated "I've never been satisfied".

Despite the fact that iridescent is more expensive/worth more/whatever, it's all about what you like on a dragon. I don't think you should have to buy another dragon to get tiger as having iri on this guy doesn't seem to be something you're even totally satisfied with. I think you should just replace his iri with tiger and be completely happy with your dragon and get your guaranteed tiger babies.

I like the tiger a little better on him with eye spots anyhow; I think the dark stripes better bring out the wings.

You going to have tiger babies regardless because treasure genes will show up more then gem genes.

But there is still a chance for iri to show through and if he only wants tiger babies and doesn't like his dragon having iri anyway, it doesn't hurt to swap it for tiger.

Tough call. Iri is easier to sell/more sought after by people. So that's definitely a factor to think on...plus I love love love blue iris.

HOWEVER, he looks better with the tiger. The iri/spots doesn't quite match up all that well with these colors imo....

Alternatively, is swapping spots to shimm an option?

Just seems wasteful in my eyes to gene a dragon and then gene it again. >.< Thats just me plus I like him the way he is.

I could, in theory, change his wings to shimmer, and make him iri/shim all the way...which might actually settle the dissatisfaction I've been feeling about how the iridescent looks with the eyespots. And it would almost guarantee that the Papillon's seraph wings would breed through as well. That may be the best choice right there...

Just have to get my hands on that shimmer scroll now.

Yeah...just have to wait till we have the available money to get more gems for the scroll. Which may put off the breeding...but holding off a bit won't kill these two, if it comes to that.

Oh god this is taking longer than I thought it would.

Just need to do up the wings and the arm thingys again... maybe go over the textures I already have to touch them up xD

The third time Adiz and Brightmoon have nested, and the third time they have laid a four egg clutch.

I hope my Imp/WC pairs and my Skydancer pair learn from them...
