Strider Clutchmother

So I just tamed the Strider Clutchmother, but I have one question: is that her name, or is it just a class (for lack of a better word) of tallstrider (like the prowler, or snow leopard)?

Oh no!

I was browsing Wowhead, and found out that there's a Clutchmother Zavas! That means Strider Clutchmother isn't the only clutchmother...

So what should I do? Re-tame it, then name it differently, or just keep her?

Do whatever you want. Clutchmother seems like a perfectly acceptable name for me.

I'm very anal when it comes to this sort of thing. I guess I embrace the "hunter spirit" a little too much.

Just leave it as Clutchmother until you think of something more suited to your gal. I had my girl named Blue from the day I first tamed her at level 20. I changed it not to long ago to LuLu just because it seemed prettier and fit her more. She's now a level 77, is huge and gorgeous.

Well you can rename her if you really don't want her named Clutchmother anymore.

If it's any help, I took the Clutchmother as a title and named mine Mizu, which is Japanese for water. I thought it worked with her colouring, which reminded me of the way an ocean sunset looks.

@zedxrgal: I can probably do that. I'll assume you used that certificate to re-name her.

@Sarayana: That's a good point, too.

I think I'm going to research that certificare Teigan mentioned, and re-name her, because as I've said, there's another beast with "Clutchmother" in the name. It seems more of a title, name an actual name, really.

The certificate is from Inscription, has easy to acquire + cheap mats, should be easy to get as long as scribes are not an endangered species on your server/faction. ^^
