Why are Violet and Spring so hideous? Their underbelly/details aren't even close to the same color (or even a PLEASING different color) to their base notes. Were the devs just trying to make some colors fuglier than others so that other colors are more desirable?

And I spent all my gems on a boon (tbh the snappers I got are actually nice but...) so I don't have any left for a scroll, and I need the money from this clutch to have ANY cash...most of which is going for a skydancer female I reserved but which I think I can't afford after all. Curse my luck.

Awh, I think she's cute! :( Then again, shades of purple are a in the handful of colors I like (my mother's fault entirely, she loves purple).

Well, by the market, violet is one of the least desirable colors. (I suppose if she had ivory as a secondary at least she'd match herself but....)

The SD I'm supposed to be picking up is 80k. I doubt I'd be able to get 50k for her in her current state.

... That would explain why the violet/black/denim SD boy I'm trying to sell isn't, well... selling.

I feel like I'd be better off scattering him and seeing if he gets a better mix of colors but I need the money I have so I can save up for a frakking Skydancer scroll.

RARGH, okay, I gave in and bought enough gems for a scroll. (well, and maybe a boon or two for upcoming clutches.) It just.... ARGH VIOLET. Y U SO BAD.

Edit: She's now Carmine/Slate. Not my personal bag of tea, but much much better.

I like how when I'm selling things people are like "Oh that's pretty but I don't want to spend that much, can we haggle" and when I want to buy things from those same people "No haggling or trades, I need the money" Like I don't. I've about had it with this kind of treatment I'm not a rug for you people to walk all over just because I'm nice. I know people need the money but DON'T ASK FOR A DEAL IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO MAKE ONE LATER! I am getting so sick of this, I let people buy dragons for like half off then try and buy something from them and they talk to me as if I'm some random person they just met. This infuriates me I'm about ready to just stop listing my dragons here and just put them on the AH, no haggling, no deals, buy it as is.

i dont think its because we´r not interested.. it just a money problem bowno...

underbelly is 135k with discount... lets say your VERY pretty dragon put down 4 eggs,, they need to sell for 33.7k each for it to be profitable, 45k 3ach for 3k, 67.5k for 2 eggs etc...

and the prices in ah are SOOOOO low.

plus it´s also hard to make money on games..

I dont think that lack of selling dragons/clutches etc in our salesthread is due to lack of interest.. more a lack of space and money..

yeah its soo hard to sell dragons on the forums unless they are tripple colored

i also see alot of starving dragons when i go lair viewing so i think there is alot of ppl who either have stopped playing or taking a break due to the economy...

Feeling really unmotivated now. I thought maybe after buying my latest lair expansion I'd perk up a bit since it meant I could breed again, but with the prices these days there's literally no point and it's just completely unappealing.

This bothers me a bit since you tried to buy my skydancers a while ago and I said I can't do trades. :\

I understand how you feel but I'm not sure if you should've done this. Rather, just don't list them here anymore. This can be rather mean because sometimes it depends on the situation. Like right now I'm in debt so no one gets discounts, but once I'm out of debt then I will resume offering discounted prices.

Qinni I wasn't talking about you, you were not the one who was on my mind when I wrote that, but I am getting fed up with people telling me they can't give me a discount or haggle when they know damn well I bent over backwards for them when I had little to no treasure.

If no one is willing to return the favor I'm not sure why I have to give discounts in the 1st place.

Well I have a special deal for people going on right now. All you have to do is write story or backgrounds for my dragons information box and you gt to request a free offspring from any couple. *if my lair wasn't full I would buy anther coco ivory from you too >.<*

I'm still listing mine here just to let my friends know there there so if they see something they like they don't have to hunt for it on the AH. All my posted prices are the price they are on the AH, I'm not going to give anymore discounts or haggle (I still take payment plans and trades from Petopians) untill the market goes back to something that looks semi-normal. I know people are hurting, everyone is, and if everyone is hurting that means that we are all in the the same boat and should help each other out. But not many people seem to see it that way and I'm tiered of being a doormat on for it.

Qinni if you want I can hold one of the chocolate/ivory dragons for you, I know how much you like them.
