Why not Dirty? If you have wireless internet at your house it should work if you have your DS set to recognize the router? Or maybe head to a place with free wireless and hook it up that way?

I do have wireless internet its really odd.. I have the correct info for us but my 3DS just wont connect. I'll head to campus tomorrow and probably establish a connection there. I'm going to try to take the torchic that way. I swear if I do this though I will have like ALL fire types when I go back for a Litleo.

Also does anyone know if after you select either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle if you can later get the other two and their stones? I picked Bulbasaur but kinda regret it but I also kinda don't. I think its because I wanted a girl Bulbasaur and I got a boy.

I'd like to get a Charmander and the Y stone but don't think I can..

You CAN get the other stones but not the other starters (unless you get lucky in Friend Safari)...a guy in Lumiose sells the Starter Mega stones for like 500k

Anyways...

Anyone got a Chespin, Swirlix, Plusle, Charmander, or Squirtle they are willing/able to part with? XD Its all I really need for my Central Kalos dex.

So far rolling with a small team while I wait for a few more gen6 'mons to come my way; I want to only use new pokemon for this run through, I think. That may change. >.> Especially seeing how freaking adorable Zigzagoon's attack animations in this game are, holy cow.

Well, at least it means I found Litleo. xD I can't decide if I want to use Fletchling or Litleo... On one hand I want a flying type and I like Fletchling better. On the other hand, experience tells me that I'll end up falling in love with the pokemon I think is ugly. v.v

Fletchling will also let you Sky Battle (only after it evolves though)

Those are the only permanent ones. I switch around the last three for the time being

Still haven't gotten to battle the second gym yet...I'm assuming I get fossil Pokemon and Eevee after it? I haven't seen anything. I know I'm missing a few such as Scraggy which makes me sad T.T Mommy misses you Scraggy! Come home soon!

Eevee can be gotten just outside the town with the second gym. The fossil Pokémon are right before the town with the second gym. So you'll essentially get your fossil Pokémon BEFORE you even get to the second gym. I ADORE how spread out everything is in this game. <3

T.T my router stopped working so I am without Wi-fi...and I need wi-fi to get the Torchic....EVIL ROUTER!!
if it were just the event, I wouldn't be to put out, I can use one at the mall or at a coffee shop...but I need one handy so I can get the event multiple times on my Y version as I reset the game to transfer starters over to my X game...Then I'd have extra torchic/mega stones for people that miss the event.
