Funny story - I heard/saw Gangnam Style for the first time while on holiday in South Korea and went "omg thats awesome" got home to Australia and everyone was like "that song is so annoying!" huh?? Anyway I still like it and listen to it on my ipod along with many other Japanese/Korean songs i like ^.^

I like the fox song too mainly cause of the fox at the end and I actually haven't seen ANY meme's about it

Maybe im just out of the loop!

Thank you. I don't care for the song, I can ignore it, it's the people who insist on shoving it everywhere that bother me. There's plenty of memes and popular songs I don't like but none seem to have been taken to such an OTT level like this one has.

Plus I thought this was a rant thread, I'm allowed to rant? It's what I wanted to rant about since people have been so obnoxious about it to me recently. Same goes for the other way around though - Just because I don't like something, sure, that means other people can like it, I never said they couldn't. I don't care if people want to like it, but start shoving it everywhere and every time you see an image of a fox, that's when I have a problem. But just because so many people like something doesn't automatically mean I can't dislike it.

If I came here to rant about the fact I didn't like the Dolan meme from a while ago, no one would be getting their jimmies rustled then.

If I'm honest, the reason I dislike it so much is because now this song will be associated with foxes for god knows how long. And I adore foxes, I love watching YouTube videos of them and, if I could, I'd love to have one as a pet. But if I do go to look at foxes on the internet, that song is the only thing anyone cares about anymore. I don't like the idea of some silly internet song being associated with an animal I love so much.

What especially got to me though was that one of my friends is a fox hunter and now likes to push this song in my face. All the time. She loves to wind me up with it because she's well aware that I like foxes and likes to make little jokes like, "What does the fox say? Nothing, just a gunshot followed by silence." and it REALLY gets to me. Like I'm so close to punching her in the face I swear. x___x

Not gunna lie, I didn't mind Gangnam Style at all.

It became especially fun to mimic the dance with my friends and it became one of those songs we'd play really loud on purpose just to annoy our noisy neighbours, haha. I preferred Gentleman though.

Luckily, Gangnam Style became less of a 'meme' and more of a 'popular song that everyone knows and likes'. So I barely saw anything on the internet to do with it, which helped, else I probably would've found it very irritating.

And, as all things do, it died out a bit after some time. It'll be the minute that shops decide to start playing the fox song that I'll really blow a fuse...

Edit: ... Boyfriend just made me listen to it again so he could hear it. He didn't like it but now the song's stuck in my damned head! x___x

A few years back I slipped on some ice while climbing a hill. I fell on my shoulder and jarred it pretty badly. I was delirious for a few hours after the fact, even though I apparently insisted I was fine. I just kept staring at nothing.

Flash forward to now. I can't really lift my arm above a certain point, otherwise the joint will like... pop out. It pops back in right away, usually, and just leaves me feeling a bit sore. I've never gone to a doctor about it.

Except today I woke up with it already out. It happens some times, no big deal. I stretch, it pops back in, the soreness goes away within the hour. But this time it won't pop back in. I've been awake for six hours, and my arm has been half numb that entire time. I can't feel my fingers. The pain finally reached the point where I threw up because it hurt so much.

I can't go to the doctor until tomorrow. I just took 800mg of advil. I just want it all to stop hurting.

This stupid fat fucking bastard of a useless manager that we thought we'd finally rid ourselves of has fucking come back. And that not the worst piece of shit filled news yet, the fucking bastard is back because he opted to be able to transfer out of province after his 2 fucking years as an assistant store manager, which means our nice store manager got fucking transferred to a different store, oohhh and the shit icing on the were fucked as fucking hell our Store manager retired so right now there is NO ONE to keep this piece of shit manager in line at all!! and he's just fucking every single person in the store over on anything and everything!!! pulling people out of departments and putting them into other departments without a single word to them about it, taking people who have had mid-day to closing shifts for the last couple years and suddenly throwing them 5am shifts every chance he can, doesn't even listen to what the department heads are asking for, just doing whatever the hell he wants and is getting pissed at everyone because things aren't getting done. No one has a fucking clue where they are suppose to be or what the hell to do in the department they've been thrown in. And all we can do is wait till some time next month when we will be getting a new Store manager and hope to fucking hell that he will put this fat SOB in his fucking place and keep him reigned in!!! If this were school, this manager would be the bully beating everyone to death when the teachers aren't looking. And I am NOT exaggerating...he's fucking horrible!! Some people are born bad, and he's rotten to the core.

I am a pretty laid back person but this guy...this guy should die!!!

The first time I heard the fox song I hated it. I thought it was stupid and made no sense. And then once I learned that it was done by a comedic band that frequently makes really silly songs like this, I rewatched the video and fell in love with the total corniness of it. xD But I can understand people just not liking it and getting annoyed by seeing it spammed everywhere.... but that happens with every viral fad.

Though I think the "joke" your hunting friend made was in really poor taste, Snowy, and I'd likely want to punch them in the face for that as well. Seems like kind of a jerk thing for a friend to do if they know how much you like foxes.

I can sympathize with people not liking "what does the fox say" being plastered to everything fox related (I feel awful for fox pet owners and furries with fox fursuits), but there's a couple of ways to handle it: ignore it or play along with it. If it's a troll, if you play along they'll likely leave you alone. I know it's frustrating but try your best but the more you rage against it, the more trolls and pests will come after you. Not that you shouldn't vent here; that's what the rant thread's for and no one here is hopefully rude enough to taunt you about it. You don't like the song and the fad it's turned into and that's fine.

Had some customers talking about the song a week or two ago in work and when one of them said what does the fox say I about nearly replied ringdingdingedingding. xD Kind of wish I would have been brave enough to do it so I could see their reaction.

Well my Grandad has prostate cancer. :/ But the bright side is the chances of it being the kind that kills you is slim but it still sucks.

Does not help that his wife my "Step Grandma" found out she had the stiff kind of parkinson's this year too. Dads side of the family has had it rough this year >.>

Was sick for 2 months, caught a cold twice during then, the second cold was because I left the house for the weekend to see my bf.

Two weeks later I'm feeling good, well, and I go out for the weekend to see bf and couple days later (last night) I am hacking my lungs out with burning globs of fire that's burning my chest and throat like I was drinking bloody hot fryer oil. It's not coming from my nose anymore like the last two, its all deep in my chest and everytime I cough, something horrendous comes out and it's making me so damned miserable. Everything hurts, the hinge of my jaw feels swollen even though my throat looks fine on the inside, nothing abnormal except for it being red and raw. I was gonna go out for Halloween too, I bought a bunch of stuff for fake blood and brought home all my body paint so I could dress up for the occasion. ;-; Why me.

It's not but it does have an animation equivalent that go hand in hand and you can switch between them.

You mean Flash. That's Adobes only program made for Animation. You really would only use PH for doing BG and even then you can do those pretty easy in Flash too.

Photoshop can save things as .gifs, but it's extremely unwieldy and just not easy to use- it's certainly not at all the ideal animation program and really it's only good for animating extremely, extremely simple things.

Example:

was done in photoshop. However, it's probably six layers (what photoshop uses for frames) at best.

Yeah, PS isn't what I'd call an animation program, but Lupis is right. You could animate things. And I've animated things in GIMP before. It's doable. Just a matter of how much do you hate yourself, heh.

yeah true I forgot about that. Still if you want to animate use Toon boom it's the best!

I save all my full animations as PNG's and then import them into Premiere Pro.
