So I want to do something expensive, time consuming, and stupid. I want to start collecting shadowy colored dragons with brown/eerie foresty colors as terts. I think I may go shadow again when my months are up or go nature and have a corrupted forest. I want them ALL to have crackle gene because when it's brown it looks like creeping roots and vines. My idea is that they'd all be dragons that the forest is reclaiming as its protectors. If they have nature eyes they're just in the beginning of the claiming, if they have ice they're blind and that means they're partially through the claiming, when they have shadow eyes they've been claimed by the forest permanently and start to go somewhat insane if ANYTHING threatens the forest.

ohey new gene

... I'd ask if I could snag a scroll from someone for previews on my dragons to see if I should get hyped and buy one, but I also have a feeling that won't happen.

I don't know. At this point, I'm considering trying to get one, slapping it on Avernus (who's ungened but obs/obs/tomato) and reselling him for like 230948023948023498023948 treasure....

Then I might have enough treasure to do a few of the things I actually WANT to do... instead of constantly being at like 100k....

aha, I don't even know how I have the treasure I do -- probably because I've just not been that interested in buying anything but apparel and selling hatchlings/apparel I don't need anymore.

It's nice to have some money for once, not so nice knowing that I'll need to sink it all down the drain for genes.

My problem is that my dragons just don't sell unless I grossly underprice them. Hell, I have two iri WCs... -wildclaws-... that have sat in my lair until they've grown up. I got 125k for the last pair, these two won't move for 75k. Crackle (while it's really neat looking) is going to drive the prices of non-crackle dragons down even farther. I won't sell anything for less than 7k (or 10k for adults) because I can get about that much for them by leveling and exalting them. But as a result I now have two full -rows- in my lair full of apparently unwanted dragons. x___x

Putting Crackle on gened dragons makes me imagine that a radio threw up static on them.

oki i give up... its almost 2 am here and i havent seen a cackle in the mp yet.. refuses to pay ah price for it since i need quite alot

I hope I'll be able to snag one after Shadow gets dom, it'll save me some treasure for sure
idk if I really have any dragons I wanna use it on, but I suppose I can always sell it if it doesn't look good on any of mine.

My problem is since the gene came out suddenly no one is buying ANYTHING. So I can't get that last treasure to even afford the stupid scroll.

If I have to end up exalting those WCs I have, I'm going to scream.

I have 200k for a crackle scroll. However I have yet to see one. If someone happens to land one and is willing to let go of it, I'll not only buy it but you can have a baby too.
