Hi all. Even though I just registered recently I've been skulking around here for weeks. You guys all seem like awesome people. But now I have a dilemma that I hope you can help me with? Way back in the day, as soon as I could, I scurried over to Un'Goro Crater and tamed me the white devilsaur. Now we're both level 80 and while I love my albino t-rex, we've never really clicked. But for the past few weeks, everytime I see King Mosh running around with another hunter or see him on thottbot, I swoon. But from what I've read on thottbot, he is one helluva baddie when it comes down to it. So would it be worth ditching my white dino for a chance to go at King Mosh?

I went to the crater for whatever devilsaur I could find and King Mosh found me. Let me say I do not regret it! I love my bad boy!

If you feel really strongly about King Mosh I say give it a go. Worse comes to worse you can easily find another albino dino if it doesn't work out.

As a matter of fact I witnessed a King Mosh tame just last night when Sochi got him for one of her alts. It was a really thrilling tame, I believe it only took 3 attempts before it went through. Just make sure you have plenty of haste, and if possible a priest buddy for fear ward. I think it could be done solo though as long as you get lucky.

I think the best method is to get a trash pet, send it in until Mosh fears it, then pop Bestial Wrath, abandon, and go for it.

And if you want, you can just do what I did. I had a Black Devilsaur before I tamed Mosh, named Nom. I hadn't even levelled him to 80 before I found Mosh. So I 'sacrificed' Nom during my taming (to get the BW proc), in order to tame Mosh. It didn't work out as planned but...well, I released Nom back to the wilds he came from. =)

In short, keep your Devilsaur till you find Mosh, then you'll be free to let him go. =)

EDIT: Taming a King is one of the most thrilling tames in WoW at the moment. It's great fun, so I say definately go for it and I wish you the bestest of luck! ^^

That is how I basically solo tamed Mosh. Get as much haste up as you possibly can. Use Beastial wrath as a ward for the fear. Try to get your tame under 15 seconds. I was at 15, and it took me 7 0r 8 attempts before I was able to get him. I was alway at the 1, or 0 count when the 2nd fear came so If I had it down to 14 seconds, it wouldn't have taken so many times to do.

I never tamed king mosh just the Tyrant Devilsaur with the exact same skin devilsaurs are the only thing that make me miss being a BM hunter. Good luck in your search & tame Larian!

I agree that you should get as much haste as you can and then go on the hunt for Mosh. Taming a king is beyond thrilling and you come away with the most amazing feelings when it's completed. Go for it!

So an update on this whole thing: I didn't find Mosh last night, but I did find the dino with the same skin, the Tyrant Devilsaur. I dropped my whitey dino for him and got him. I'm still in Un'goro Crater because I don't think I'm satisfied. I've got it in my head I want the King and well... I really want him. XD So I might be spending a lot more time in the Crater...

I tamed King Mosh a while back and it was such a thrill, I was so amazed by how gigantic he is in the wild! I still had my gear from King Krush and wow did it help! Happy hunting! I hope that all goes well!
