Finally got around to seeing Frozen today and while the visuals and songs were beautiful I still don't think it lived up to the hype. I mean I wasn't expecting much to begin with, given that the trailer seemed so 'meh' to me, so I went in with low expectations anyway along with some friends who loved it so much that it was their fifth time seeing it. But I really wasn't that drawn. :/ Don't get me wrong, I liked it, it was good, but... I felt disappointed that I wasn't as enlightened by it as I thought I would be. And I just didn't find the funny scenes funny. D: I dunno. Maybe I have to watch it again. I'll probably get it on DVD for sure when it's out, but it's not something I'd rush back to see again soon. :/

I think my problem may lie in that I was subconsciously comparing it to Rise of the Guardians, given that that was the animated winter film that everyone was talking about last year. And I LOVED that film. Like a lot. And I know it's unfair to compare Dreamworks and Disney but... it's just something I do.

Oh well, looking forward to Walking With Dinosaurs 3D this weekend! It's like my childhood in a film. xD

Yup we sure do XD They are mostly on motorways and stuff. I will say the part of Auckland I live in is pretty shit when it comes to bus lanes. No one cares about West Auckland because it's bogan city

Bike lanes on the freeway! Be so many dead here haha!! Nah they aren't supoosed to ride in the Bus lanes here (as far as I'm aware) but we don't have alot of them anyway. They do like to ride in the middle of the road in peak hr so the poor bus can't overtake while the footpath (which has markings for bikes on it too) is freakin empty!! Which is beyond annoying when going home >.>

Ugh bikers who act like they own the road. I don't think it's very smart to be a jackass to someone in a big metal death machine

Man I don't like being called a Jafa. Call me one and I will kick you in the trouser snake or your pants cat.

Really if you call me that you will come out of it with a sore pants animal

Edit: should tell you what Jafa means it means "Just Another Fucking Aucklander" or sometimes "Just Another Fuckwit From Auckland" and is used by every other part of New Zealand. Because everyone hates Auckland. >.>

Also Duck dynasty. We only started getting it here (I think we are 4 seasons behind XD) but man yeesh. I'm glad they kicked the dude off the show.

It's to do with a lot of things. The more south you go the stronger the hate gets. Auckland is the biggest city in NZ and more culturally diverse then the other cities and people hate us for that (when you see how white places in the south Island are it's crazy man). People hate how their tax money goes towards things like roads in Auckland and say "all our tax money goes to those bloody jafas" when it's more the other way around XD.

Oh and how we get a lot of big things here but that's again mainly because we are a big city. I've met people from Christchurch who think we all drink lattes in fancy cafes because we are all rich too :S

Sometimes it's like we are part of Australia! It's pretty stupid really. Hell sometimes I've met people who I've been the first Auckander they have met before and they have just grown up to hate us! We get treated the same way as Australians sometimes and people can be pretty mean to you guys D:

An Aussie analogy is that Auckland and Wellington are often compared to Sydney and Melbourne respectively. Auckland is the rich financial capital where people are supposed to be less friendly and Wellington is supposed to be the artsy city with a soul

These are just stereotypes... I'm just pointing out an Aussie analogy to how it's viewed

Personally I've loved both cities.

Makes sense to me. Wellington is a nice place so easy to just walk everywhere! I have not been to Sydney or Melbourne only the Goldcoast and Townsville but mum and dad have and they have said both are nice places to vsit.

I'm not surprised Australians are treated badly, Kiwi's don't exactly get treated well here either sometimes (esp when the Rugby is on) My fiance works with alot of Maori's on the mines tho and they all seem pretty lovely

I think WoW broke. xD Crippling server lag in dungeon groups, battle net is wigging out, random DCs, can't cast spells- something went seriously wrong with the servers.

YAY (or is that yay?) I am not the only one having issues with WoW atm...it took me so many restarts to just get my August celestial dailies done! then I went back to my farm to tend to those dailies and...why is Nanaki standing over there sniffing the ground when I am over here...wait, why isn't this soil getting tilled? ...awww crud!!!

Nah, both dungeon groups I got in ended early when we all disconnected after huge lag spikes, and before he DCd one of the people mentioned that his entire guild was being hit by the lag.

T.T I hate waiting...but I've learned better then to just assume the dates written are solid...its such a limited time frame to (18th-26th) but the journal is still marked "closed". I probably wouldn't care so much except the design I have already for the event is probably one of my favourites and I really really want him to be "official". I just hate waiting T.T

I really don't like how my father described me meeting my half sister (who is a good 12yrs older than me and ive never met before due to my family being completely fucked) as "we can fit you in christmas eve" EXCUSE ME! I'm busy christmas eve, how about you fit in around me!!! Now hes playing the sympathy card with "oh you should really try to spare an hr to meet her" omg its christmas eve! The roads will be INSANE it will be hot and my fiance comes home from night shift that day and for the first time in ages I just might be home to welcome him so how about no? I've talked to her on facebook so its not like I haven't acknowledged her exsistance or anything but it is the most inconvient time of the year to pull this shit on me. We are stressed enough with christmas...dont do this to me!!

Look I'm not the biggest Marvel fan out there but I liked the Mandarin in Iron man 3 BUT I would of liked it if he was done like the comic. When I see people saying the way he is in the comics would not work in the movies is bullpoop. I mean a guy with ten alien rings is too crazy for the movies? I don't see people saying the alien thunder god is too crazy or the two movies plots based around a alien box or the man who turns green when he is angry......
