Dinosaur was cheesy? ... I literally just finished watching this film, to correct my brain from the utter shite that was WWD. I'm 21, I didn't find it cheesy, I watched it as a kid and adored it. o.o To me it's just amazing. I used to have an Aladar baby in an egg and I loved him to bits. xD But yeah, I love loads of films that others don't purely because I grew up with them. Like the 1998 Godzilla. To me, that film could do no wrong, but apparently everyone hated it? *shrug*
Also thought I'd quickly point out that dinosaurs in general were my childhood, particularly the WWD documentary show, so when I first saw the trailer for the new WWD film I nearly screamed of delight in the cinema. So that's why I'm treating this like a really big deal. >.<
I meant more in the joke-sense The jokes Zini makes are a bit out there, things you wouldn't get unless you're a tad older than the intended audience for the movie and such. The CGI for the movie was stellar, though the plot was a bit flat when I look back on it.
But the characterization was there and it stayed true as well.
(ehe, I was a dinosaur nut when I was little too -- I still have books and I know I have a vcr movie about dinosaurs as well I had a t-rex plush that I adored, but I don't know where he disappeared off to )
Good to see I'm nt the only "dinosaur" little girl on the forum! I have a giant bag of them at my mums still (which I keep meaning to rescue from the shed) mostly dino-riders and a few Jurassic Park figures. Also have a tonne of books on them and was going to be a paleontologist until my mum said "you'd never make a living doing that" /crush childhood dreams bwahahaha!

Lovely day, what with everybody I know lying to me. I mean, I know they aren't doing it intentionally ( Although my paranoia tells me otherwise ), but it still sucks when somebody says one thing and does something else entirely.
Boyfriend who I haven't talked to much in the past week promises he'll be on tonight, right after work to talk to me? Nope, he got off five hours ago, still nothing, not even a text. Best friend who I haven't seen much of in a number of weeks due to her job says she has a mini-vacation starting and is going to come see me? Also haven't heard a word from her. Other friend who I decided to vent these frustrations to, who then promised to play a game with me and keep from from being bored and lonely? Been waiting over an hour for her to join me since she said she was going to log on.
And the worst part is I'm feeling so damn bored and lonely and absolutely useless that depression has kicked in and now even if they all were here and wanting to do something I'd probably gain no enjoyment from it anyways. Just in that mood now.

Yesssss go see those instead. Frozen was decent and the Hobbit was AMAZING. Hoping to see it again this weekend before I head back to mum's for Christmas. Also I'm sad that you guys still have your dino stuffs. I had a buttload of dino figures as a kid but they all got thrown out... :/
Third time. THIRD F-ING TIME my parents have let my dog get out. He's leashed for a reason. He's a friendly dog, but people looking at him may not think that. Usually I don't give a rats ass what people think, but I don't need a legal reason to keep him leashed. I'm tired and I'm cranky. He won't run away, but recently some people have come zooming down my street... Which is a private dead end btw. They're not supposed to be using the god damn street to turn around. If they pay attention and NOT HOLD THE GOD DAMN DOOR WIDE OPEN, this may happen left often. I had to get him twice yesterday. I tell them time and time again to pay attention to where he is BEFORE you open a door. Nope, they don't listen.

FRICK my mount luck has really taken a nose dive lately. Finally got enough marks for a Stormwind Steed because I thought argent tourny mounts transfered over faction, so I'd get the Orgrimmar Wolf. I only have an ally character with Champion rank, so it was my only real choice.
...Got the mount. Logged on my horde. No wolf. Learned that they don't transfer over at all, unless you faction change your character.
I have an urge to draw some Orcs and Orks today but I can't because I've put all my drawing stuff away and I'd get yelled at if I made a mess downstairs because it's all clean for Christmas tomorrow because we are having the family lunch here this year.
