Unless the taming bug somehow is activated again, the sword will most likely disappear upon tame.

The taming method was hotfixed a long time ago so.....

you never know for sure at the start of an expansion. Always give it a pet a try at taming.

If it's been hotfixed, you usually wont have it come back. That's the point of hotfixes.

You can try but you may get into trouble now.
