I'm logged in and I didn't have to change anything.

They are not forcing us.. they are recommending it as a safety precausion.. you dont need to if you dont want to.

Yes they are. I can confirm this. The moment I logged out and tried to relog in with my correct information they told me that it was invalid. I wasn't forced to log out but felt it better to do so rather than be kicked.

This was posted by an admin:

"When we take the site out of read-only mode, all log-in credentials will be reset and you will be unable to log into your account until you change your password. To be as precautionary as possible, you will not be able to use a previous password."

Looks like they're taking a better safe than not stance. Can never be too careful.

It might be best for us to change them anyway, even if we didn't have to.
After all.. We do have a huge list of usernames on here. The person that broke in to the FR admin account wouldn't have to look hard to find our list and then slink around our boards for people that said they didn't bother to change their password. ._.;

It didnt make me log out since I turned off my computer before rollover... But I just changed it anywho xD

I'm guessing you got on just as they took it out of read only mode. They said the site wasn't going to be down long. Or it's possible you were just still logged in. I've seen the site go down and people still able to play the games. Might have to do with their servers or coding.

(a good example is how the admins posted password changes would be required, but seemingly, they're not.

oki this is spookey i changed my password as a secruity just after the site came out.. now i got a email where my password is writting in.. and now i cannot log in... this seams suppesious.....

just a heads up for those who does not read the rant thread.

There is no more dragonmafia atm.. we are dead until/if they can get their account restored on new emails..

Just a heads up cause i know the mafia have been a help to some .. and now they not able to help if needed... I let you know if things change

The dragonmafia are my 12 real life friend... Vephriel gave them the nickname after they were so fast to gather money together for a dragon she really wanted.

The have helped ppl with money, dominance discount etc when needed... and now they are no more....well 4 of them regained their account.. but still

it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuxs ......they dont mind soo much but i got one of my favorite pairs away breeding in once of their lairs for eyecolor.. and that one still havent heard from the admin.. the email she once used to subscribe has gone obsolete cause she did not use it so she is not sure she can ever get back on fr... the same with the rest of them...

and Nef also has a pair relocated at one of those who cant get in....

nothing to do but wait and see if the admins is gonna let them acces their account without the original email
