Argent Tournament Mount Question
I'm sure it's been asked before but I can't find a straight up answer that's recent.
Are all AT mounts account wide?
If so, do they convert between Alliance/Horde? Like say I get a mount on my NE druid, will it give the equivalent via a Hordie?

Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
They are account-wide (except the Pally one, I don't know about that one - I think it's account wide now for all your paladins), but they do not translate across to the Horde/Alliance equivalent, unfortunately. So if you want them all, you'll have to do those horrible dailies on both sides.

Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
Are you sure? I got two guildies telling me they didnt do anything on Horde side but they got the horde mounts and everything. It's baffling me cause I did stuff alliance side but got nothing Horde side.

Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
I am absolutely certain that I have done most of the mounts on the Alliance side, but only own two or three on Horde, all of which I can definitely remember doing the dailies for. I didn't start doing the dailies until the end of Cata and have continued in MoP, so at least during this time they have not translated over.

Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
I have almost all horde AT mounts and none transfer to Ally. I just logged in to check it. The mounts that are availiable on both sides are the Argent Warhorse and the Sunreaver Dragonhawk becomes the Silver Covenant Hippogryph.
Also black warbear is the only pvp mount I have on Ally although I have all Horde pvp mounts. The only exception here is the Alterac Wolf that becomes the Stormpike Battle Charger when on Ally.
If you want me to check any other mounts just tell me.

Thank you guys so so much.

Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
Your guildies might have faction transferred a character, as that will convert your mounts to the opposite faction and will share them. But no, without faction transfering, your alliance characters won't automatically get the alliance version of your horde AT mounts. I learned that the hard way. >.<

Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
Yeah the easiest way is to do them all on one faction and then faction transfer for the other sides. I thought they had fixed it though you could get them either way but by the responses obviously not

Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
Poopie. That sucks.
Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
Also, I have the Argent Charger on one paladin, but no other paladin I have seems able to access it. Which is a shame, I worked my butt off for it.
Also the Sunreaver and Silver Covenant mounts do transfer. (at least the ground ones, I don't have the flier.)

Re: Argent Tournament Mount Question
Nachtwulf, the flying mounts do transfer too. I don't have the ground mount yet.
Also mounts like spectral wolf become spectral horse on Ally and spectral wyvern will be spectral gryphon. I have 168 mounts on Ally and 198 on Horde. So at least 30 of my mounts seem to be Horde only. Quite a lot.
