I want a coatl.

I am NOT going to pay 200k freakin' treasure for even a homely one. I'm just not.

I did that before, when the game started, and now the dragons that I spent thousands on thousands of treasure for are basically considered exalt-bait.

Even if I DID buy one, I wouldn't be able to get babies out of them in time for them to be worth anything, since they're a gem breed and have a ridiculously long cooldown (plus babies take like a month and a half to even go live). So basically it'd be like everything else in this game where I spent stupid money at the beginning then by the time I can produce what I want, it's not worth shit.

but I still want one.

Same here Nach, my girlfriend is breeding me a Coatl but if she wasn't then I'd be totally content to wait until the price drops to get one :/

I have 2 dragons ready to breed that I want to coatl

But I can't justify spending real life money atm and I certainly can't afford the AH treasure price for 2 scrolls T.T

I didn't spend a dime on my 2 coatl scrolls. I just made a thread to buy gems whenever I got 100k or so, and sold stuff on the AH. It's slow but it works.

when my coatl gives me stuff, I plan to gift them out to people who dont have em. the prices are just outrageous.

I have enough treasure just for 2 scrolls at the 90 exchange rate

I can't play the flash games for long periods or the coliseum as I find it incredibly hard to sit at a PC for any length of time as I'm disabled

With the economy as it is, I'm stuck in a rut of not having treasure to gene up dragons to sell them better, and those I do breed no one wants because they aren't the correct genes

I can't believe I'm exalting dragons for just 2.4kT that would have cost around 100kT back in October when I joined

Crim and familiar bonding are my greatest incomes - how sad is that?

may have to put myself in the firing line on the forums and see if anyone will go below the 300 exchange rate for me

hhhahaha did you see my post a page or two before that someone exalted the only hatchling from a WC pair that I had hopes for and named it Worthless?

These days, if I put something up for less than 7-9k, I name it.

Sometimes people will pay a lot for exalt bait but usually not, so it cuts down on seeing things like 'Puntnugget' in my offspring lists. You might want to do that...

Yep, I name mine too - usually something fitting to their appearance so it shouldn't off-put people who buy just because they like the colours/genes. The problem comes when dragons are bought on mass for dom pushes - the manic grinders don't take the time to pick out a name

Heck, they can't even be bothered to hit the 'random' button -.-" That's what makes me think people are naming them these crappy names maliciously - surely it can be classed as bullying or harassment?

The Random button has some interesting names as well. Like Bucket, Elbow and Puke. I don't think EXALTED is on there... But just remember some of the 'bad names' can come from the generator xD
