Well, that sort of ruins my plans to form a government. Unless...

Like I said, the power could have just made him go mad. So if you take him out..just use that excuse.

OK, just finished the Echo Islands quests. I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, they were fast and easy to do. On the other hand, I would think that such an occasion would have been a bigger deal. Not even a cinematic! I understand it's just PTR at this point, but c'mon...this is a big deal and should be treated as such. No idea what's going on over at the alli camps but I would imagine the same.

On alli side its just as confusing with everyone chasing after Gelbin like with Vol'jin, the voice acting is great on both sides, on Alli side we get the cinematic end, but its a win-loss for the gnomes while for the trolls its pure win. ( And a good shoe-horning of certain thing to try and explain the how and why of that certain thing.)

Blizz staff quote:
Operation Gnomeregan and Echo Isles
The events themselves are not currently scheduled to go live with patch 3.3.5. We're simply taking the opportunity on the PTRs to test these events while they're up and running in case we do not have another opportunity to do so before marking these events live.

[...] The release of the events will be contingent upon the development of other features leading up to Cataclysm, but their release will likely not coincide directly with a patch. They're events that simply need to be "turned on" when we're ready. (Source)

I did the Gnomeregan one, and I was pretty disappointed to be honest. Once these events go live, they better actually RECAPTURE Gnomeregan. Otherwise, what is the point? :| I had to give up and let sleep take over as the Vol'jin one was starting.
