Why is it that the Beasts of fable quest keeps on resetting everytime I'm nearly finished with it >:(

Hell I finished it yesterday but did not have time to fly back and hand it in and now It's saying I have to do it all over again!

It's probably because the traffic is being rerouted through gateways that can't handle it. Or maybe it's just coincidence. A gateway went down in CA a little while ago and the forums were all up in arms about that even though it had absolutely zero to do with Blizzard. People just scream incoherently when something goes wrong and it's easier to blame Bliz than the amorphous void of the internet.

But they're right. If the latency is 'World' then it's stemming from Blizzard's servers. If it's 'Home' then it's unfortunately your problem (or your ISP's).

^ This, pretty much. Gateways aren't run by Blizzard. They're used by many many people that go all over the place.

That said, Nacht is right. Home is on your end(or your ISP). World would be Blizz's end.

Okay rant incoming but so much of it my own darn fault: I left my car in drive this weekend and somehow was able to remove the keys, because it was in drive all the electronics stayed on resulting in a drained battery. So when I went to start it today with it being 7 degrees F out of course it wouldn't start, I got back in park but when I needed to put it in neutral it locked up. Our neighbors weren't home to move their car so we could pull mu husbands up to jump it. Again let me repeat 7 freaking degrees out. Wound up linking 2 jumper cables together and then it took 15mn to charge the battery all the while sitting in a frozen car.

Moral: don't leave your darn car in drive and take the freaking keys out.

The Coke Ad responses are why the internet annoys me as a whole. As I said on my tumblr,..
hot button topic = people will scream regardless of content.
No matter what it is, it will never be enough for some and always be too much for others, and there's nothing you can do.

Two problems with that.

1. The Star Spangled Banner is the USA anthem. So...wrong song.
2. There's more than one 'America'. The USA isn't the only one. Infact, that's only half of North America maybe.

People are just...fucking stupid. It's unbelievable.

It's like these people don't realise America is a land of immigrants like so many countries. Or do they think White people have been there all along? XD

But what really makes me laugh are the people going "They used languages that aren't english!" ...Well, yeah, there are more languages than english. Remember the inscription on the Statue of Liberty? How we welcome immigrants?

I honestly don't understand people that go "NOOO MUST SPEAK AMERICAN". I mean, yes, learning English helps, because the majority of people in the US speak English. But it's super cool to celebrate the diversity in the US! Not just because woo diversity, but- it's the idea of it. A nation made up of patchwork pieces from all over the globe, with all sorts of cultures and people under one flag. That's... really cool. So why are people terrified of the idea that people in the US might be a little different than they are? o.O

Over half the countries in the world have an official language, there are pros and cons on both sides. From an anthropological point of view language, and culture are part of what bind a community together. A certain amount of nationalism is necessary to support a healthy society. What is important is to realize that such things do exist and are important and therefore use the knowledge to minimize the judgement of others. That being said singing the National anthem in other languages(if done to support diversity and not to be a butt head) is great, I didn't watch the Super Bowl, frankly think the game is silly. To be frank I think the PC police are as bad sometimes as terrorists we have a school district in the state I live in that will not allow the kids to have a spirit week celebrating being part of the USA for fear it would offend those not born here WTF!!!!!

That school thing is really confusing though. O.o Who gives a fuck if you weren't born in the US? If you live in the US, you're part of it. That's it. You don't need to be born there. ...Or that's how I see it, I guess, seeing as many people seem to be VERY VERY UPSET about people who weren't born here.

Now i have to disagree with that last statement Lupis, the problem is the people who don't want to follow the laws to become citizens not those who come the right way. Almost all countries have immigration laws in varying degrees of strictness, we by far are not any where near the strictest. I feel that we're being shamed by the PC police for being american or white or for those that are religious (i'm not..religious that is). I embrace my country and all her people for the good and bad. Now I am not saying there aren't some real jackasses at there that need to educate themselves about other groups..there are far too many of those in all cultural spectrum's. It's just sad.

Oh, sorry, I didn't make it clear- I meant people who become citizens (or are attempting to do so). I did quite a bit of research on how to become a citizen and it can be really rough for people in bad situations, so I get it when people stall or don't get citizenship because they just can't- but I definitely agree that it should be a bigtime priority, and never considered optional.

I mostly just meant by that statement that birth country shouldn't make someone more or less American.

Now if we are talking about being shamed for being white lets talk about Tumblr! Aka the site that makes you feel bad for being straight and/or white and dear help you male

I mean I saw last week someone getting so angry that they where not getting as much attention they wanted for their "suicide attempt" (I think it was fake most of what I read say it was) because people where paying more attention to the 11 year old boy who attepted suicide and now is in a coma with brain damage O.o I mean sheesh that's low.
