I was hoping for a more flexible transfer method...Having to set everything up in one box in-game, save, exit. go to transfer, transfer over, save exit. remove/insert game. to go pokebox...figure out where pokemon are, move individually...save/exit. go into game, enjoy...

I was hoping for something where we could access all the boxes on the game that's transferring poke's, and "flick" the desired pokemon up to the transfer box (or something like that). Would make it so much easier.

That all aside, I've now got all my event pokemon/legendary's moved over. And gotten my event Celebie. Not to just slowly move the rest of my pokemon over as needed.

So I was trying to transfer over my Shiny Jiracchi that I obtained LONG LONG LOOOONG ago around from a friend in my Sapphire version. It's been with me for years. Turns out it was a hacked pokemon. That's fine though. I can live without it in X & Y. Its fair.
What is NOT fair is that instead of just "Removing it from the box" like the text said it did.. It FUCKING DELETED MY JIRACCHI! It's GONE! It's NO WHERE IN SIGHT!

They DELETE any pokemon that might have been hacked in! I didn't know until just now it was a hack and I LOVED my Jiracchi! This is so dumb. Ugh.

I've checked 12 times in all my boxes just to be sure and no luck. However, I am happy to say that the pokemon that I was SURE were going to be hacked in, like my level 100 Shiny Charizard and Shiny Blastoise are either not hacked, or the bank didn't pick up on them. It's going to suck though knowing that Jiracchi is gone D:

That's ok. None of my pokemon want to transfer from pearl to white. The game goes fine but then when it's over it gets stuck. None of my pokemon have items or have HMS - i made sure I deleted them, but nope. They are all stuck. Think I'll be trading them all over instead.

This whole bank thing has been a mess from the start. But that's just mean for the sake of being mean. Like you, not everyone will be able to tell if a mon is hacked.
The interface is crap too. Wastes a ton of time and I don't like how I have to turn my system off and on to swap came carts.

And why the hell can we not use the touch screen?!

You can hit the start button to change the cursor to green and move the whole box. It was kind of annoying to figure out but at least we have that...
Still doesn't make up for the rest of this mess though. I definitely won't be using it past the free trial.

Does anyone know if the Legendary Birds were shiny locked in X/Y? I'm currently on my boyfriend's X version (with his permission) trying to soft reset for shiny Articuno. There's no videos for any of the Birds (or Mewtwo) up on YouTube being captured shiny on X/Y, either, which is why I'm asking. I already have a shiny Articuno that I got from a friend a few years ago that I transferred from Diamond to Black, but I've always had a sneaking suspicion that she's not legit (which makes me sad), and I am NOT going to try transferring her to Y and risk losing her.

Far as I know, they're shiny locked. I DID post pictures a couple pages back of the shiny Legendary birds that I saw on GTS, all of which were transferred through Pokebank.

I can't say whether or not it's legit without firsthand evidence, so here's what I would do:

Check or try to remember where, when, and what level it was caught at when it was traded to you. If it was either: a) caught in Johto or Kanto at level 50, or b) caught on a Sinnoh route at level 60 after Platinum came out (May 22nd, 2009), it's likely legit. If it was caught in Johto or Kanto at a lower or higher level, or caught in Sinnoh before Platinum came out, it's hacked.

Well frak, that's bull that they would do that. :/ I'm looking at her right now, and she was caught in Sinnoh at level 60. The reason why I'm afraid that she might be non-legit is that all her contest stats were completely maxed out when she was traded to my Diamond cart from my friend, which I wasn't happy about. Thanks for clearing this up for me, Slapper, I really appreciate it. I just don't want to chance her going poof on me if I tried to transfer her over.

I've also discovered...I've come to actually like Sylveon ONLY if it's female. A male Sylveon just weirds me out and feels wrong to me.
