I'm not sure how long it took exactly; I've been playing for seven years now, but I farmed her on and off on three different characters. It must have at least been three or so years though all together. Nothing like the Headless Horseman's mount, however. That I did farm every day of every Halloween and let's hope this year I'll be luckier xD

Congrats on all the shiny new mounts!

Yaaay!!

I got my 200 mounts and my pretty, shiny Dragonhawk to show off on

I had help from this mount which I got last week!

Finally got that last achievement from Madness after all these months since getting the rest of them!

I also got a second Direhorn, the slate one but I regret to say I don't have a screenshot on me!

BUT the mount that took me to 200, one that I didn't think I would get at all because of my lack of experience and lack of raiding guild...

WOLFY!!! I only joined this guild a couple weeks ago and now I have my lovely, fluffy only wolf Alliance can have!!
This is my first ever Ahead of the Curve achievement too! I am seriously happy to have this mount!

And there goes all my gold on my new server Thrall. I had made a toon on this German server because it's a server with high population and a good working economy. I wanted to get gold together for this mount only (noone ever sells it on my dead other server). Today I saw someone in trade writing "wts Crimson Deathcharger /w me". So I did. I had only seen the mount for around 50-70k so far (once for 34k but it was when I was still levelling). And he wants to sell it for 30k. He showed me his own crimson deathcharger because I was afraid of a dupe and he told me how he had gotten it. So 30k well spent and now I'm broke

Probably one of the most annoying and agonizing mounts to obtain...

Many blood, sweat and tears went into this mount; not all were my own. Around five hundred lives went into it, after all. I tried being humble while obtaining bloody coins but sadly, there was no other way. And being the mount hoarder I am, I could not pass up such a lovely mount entirely.

OMG Congratulations!

I was really into farming coins for a while, but when I had been doing it for a good couple of weeks and realized I was less that 1/5th of what I needed (PVE Realm >.<) my interest did wane a little... I really need to get back to it.
Again, Gratz!! So jealous right now!

What I can advise you, Spirit, is to forsake about half of what you've gathered, and get the item that lets you get a chance on BCs outside the isle, then use it while running BGs and such. It may take slower than on the isle (although on a pve realm I guess the difference won't be that bad) but it helps to keep you from feeling like a ganky jerk.

So here i am!. After 3 Weeks of only Garrosh Farm. Wiping. Leaving guild for another guild. Then tonight it happened. Garrosh died!! Omg was so fun seeeing him die!!.
Now i got my pretty mount!<3

Thank you both <3 If you're on a PVE realm you could always join a cross realm group for farming coins (If you're lucky enough to find one), or a world boss group (which might be phased to a PVP realm) and farm while they're forming. If you're lucky you will get some people to log off while still in the group as well, which means you'll have plenty of time to farm after the raid is ended, before the group disbands completely.

Being on a PVP realm It was a lot easier, but still took forever. I still need/want the pet, but it's kind of daunting xD I know that once WoD Is released the grind for both mount and pet will be much worse though (Like the Talbuks from Halaa ><)

OMG, that has actually happened to me a few time when doing a world boss inter realm, and I was all, Wah?!? I'm flagged!?! Ohhh PvP realm..." And yes ppl always log off and your there on the PvP server til you leave yourself.
