Question!

I just saw a tauren riding a mountain horse. Like, the gilnean brown horse without a saddle. I can't find any explanations. Anyone know what's going on? I forgot to take a screenshot orz

Where did you see this happening?
It could be that they just race changed. I do this when ever I race change.
If you are on a mount before you race change into a Tauren, then when you go through the change you will still be on that mount. I heard it also works for undead, but I can not confirm this.

Is there an item that does that? dunno I think there might be a quest like that somewhere.

I saw it in Silvermoon, but I'm pretty sure that's not what happened, as they weren't mounted when I first saw them. They dismounted from it, then mounted it again.

I know there's an item (Mr.Smite's Brass Compass) that will change you into a Tauren(Mr.Smite) for 10 minutes.

That is the only thing I can think of at this very moment.

But since it was on Horde, that still doesn't explain the horse....

All I could say was did they have a item buff *shrug* But this is a very hard question to answer. Sorry for not being helpful

Hm. Well the only other thing I can think of is the quest in Western Plaguelands where you get on the horse to scare spiders away.

But I'll go check a 'certain site' to see if a new glitch has been found.

I saw a Tauren riding a horse once.......once.

It may be a TCG loot card. I had a friend who had a special card that summoned a special hitching post that would give you an unbridled mountain horse to ride around on.

Odds are he or someone he was grouped with had the Hitching Post from the TCG:

Clicking on it mounts you on a plain brown Alliance horse. Once you get off, though, it's gone unless the post is still up and you click it again. I've got one on my hunter
