I joined the day after FR went live and was originally Fire flight. They've only had Dominance like twice or something, as Jun said. I switched to Light and thusfar, we too have only acquired Dominance twice. Once for our festival and again a couple months ago (I wanna say January but I think it was December actually).

I don't mind not having dominance but I do like the happy, giddy feeling of being the dominant flight. And of course the discounts. Mmmmm discounts.

Ice used to dominate hard but they seem much calmer now which is nice. Nowadays it seems to like being Plague with Water or Earth poking in a week here and there. I don't remember the last time Wind, Arcane, Lightning, or Nature had their last dominance week. Guess it just comes down to the resolve of flight members and any coordination attempts that people decide to make amongst each other or other flights. I wish my flight was a little more competitive but not like, back-in-the-day-Ice-Flight kinda competitive when there were those several individuals that kept ruining the Flight's integrity

Maaaan. Threads in the Fire flight forum are saying a lot of Water peeps are being stuck up and slandering the Fire Flight in Tumblr. I'm glad I don't go to Tumblr for much. :/ Too much drama.

I'm pretty sure Plague has the most members, too. So it's less of a trial on the participants (per person) to exalt lots.

I personally wish there was a way to help the dominance fight that didn't involve what I consider a mass wastage of dragons. Sure, there's too many overall, but people with lots of treasure will buy really nice looking dragons with equal (possibly more) fervor as 'exalt bait' type dragons and I cannot COUNT the number of things I've been specifically looking for for some particular project only to find them having been exalted in a push. Or I hatch something I think is super pretty only to have it snapped up and insta-exalted and I'm like 'but what if someone actually wanted that'.

I'd like to contribute, but I really wish there was another way.

I saw someone posted a really vitriolic rage-rant there about people using terms like 'dargon' and 'babbu' and MAN UP AND TALK LIKE ADULTS... and I'm kinda like 'you do know this is basically a kid's game about cute dragons right... oh wait, this is the internet.' FR IS SERIOUS BZNZ U GIZE.

I hear ya there. I also just spent all 125k of my gold and some gems to exalt dragons. *sob*

I saw that too. It's only Dramarising that any shit goes down under, the Flight Rising tag whenever I go in it seems fairly calm. Not that I go in it often though so maybe I wind up there during slow times. I don't post much FR related things on tumblr cause I'm too busy reblogging things off my dash xD But like, yeah. Someone is a party pooper rofl.

yeah I think I saw that one too and I was like "... really. I'll call them what I damn well please and nothing you say can fucking stop me I'll call them babbus and hatchies all I want it's a goddamn PET SITE."
I s2g people who get high and mighty about little things like that are what peeve me the most. Let people have their fucking fun, don't police them for stupid little shit.

Wow! Congrats water on the dominance win! That was a close and intense fight! I have no idea how many dragons I sent to my friend to serve the mighty tidelord, but it was worth it!

Now for the rant. Every time I look for a specific color range everything is near exalted, or the owners have left their lair with starving dragons. Maybe in a year or two it will be easier? x_x

As for the dom. discussion--Lightning won it back in...Decemberish? We made a push and won. We also went up against Earth in the Battle Royale and lost that, although it was close. I know we're planning another push at some point, and then we'll win it during our festival.

Nobody is worse than Wind when it comes to dominance. We've had it ONCE since the I started (which is back when the site was first released) AND we used to be the largest flight. Talk about epic failure >>

heh i was helping out fire by buying ALOT of dragons and exhalting them.. i thought it was fun - i got no hassle with water winning hehe.. it drove the prices up for dragons by quite a bit

Lightning's has it once since I started...:/ plague always has it just about, and I'm thinking they just have the largest population. Heck, look here on this site how many are in plague.

...Just kidding. We have a few really die-hard members though, and they take Dominance very seriously. Plague is much like Wind in size- but it's got a higher population of people who are willing to participate in Dominance battles, whereas Wind (which I mean not to shame, I love Wind's community) is a lot more laid back and scattered.

I was just venting. I was also upset at how many water peoples on tumblr were badmouthing the fire flight and being just all out venomous. Like, they absolutely despise the fact Ice and Fire are friends now. It was upsetting. I didn't mean to come off like a jerk. ^^;(Remind me to just ignore tumblr).
