Also just to make things clear none of us here are attack everyone who likes MLP. If you don't do the creepy stuff then we are not talking about you. But if you do get offened by us not like creepy people in a fandom (any that is) then maybe you might be part of the creepy side? *shrug*

My rant for the week: No make-up selfies

Don't get me wrong, in the UK this was for a good reason for donations to cancer foundations and ppl had links to were to donate/sponser them etc BUT in Australia I have to yet see ONE single post that says "donate to..." or "sponser me here..." or "i donated x amount to...". They all just seem very self indulging in the name of "awareness" with multi comments going "your gorgeous hun you don't need make up xx" what a load. And comments saying "oh its so hard not to wear make up" Bullshit. Cancer is hard. Having a limb missing is hard. No make up is easy. Typically the people who are posting this pics are the kind that post multiple selfies a week anyway...just seems like they've totally missed the point.

Guys, PLEASE don't rant about my rant. We've discussed this before and it never ends well. I appreciate that you want to side with my argument but... remember what happened last time we ranted about bronies, people took it off the charts and assumed we were talking about every brony ever or every pony fan ever. I know far too many pony-creeps and I just need to rant about it sometimes.

Also, Cow, I disagree about the writing and animation. It's still good. I still enjoy the show, not as much as I used to, mainly because I think the fandom ruined it for me. Seasons 1-2 were brilliant to me and made my life a little bit happier and this was before I got properly involved in the fandom. I still have some pony merch, I love the characters, but it'll never be the same as it was two years ago. :/

Ugh that's true and it's bloody silly quite frankly. Complaing about creepy people does not equal attacking the whole fandom >.< Then again that's the internet for you :/

I guess if you have any issues with what anyone here has said repsond in a PM to the people who said it so as not to derail the thread even more :3 Well at least you can do it to me :3

Anyway enough about silly ponies. I'm still shocked about Oderus Urungus D: Fuck man he was only 50 ;-;

ahaha I think I figured out some of the reasoning behind me being so apathetic to losing my best friend recently: it's because she made an absolute mountain out of a mole hill (admittedly, I did too, which is what started the whole mess, but mine was out of naivety more than anything)

She dropped me like I was out-of-season almost immediately (which I don't care about, she had every right to) but instead of letting me explain my side of it fully or anything, she brushed me off with a "we're no longer friends, go away". No letting me explain why I did what I did, no nothing.

I'm just glad I know and have learned that I can't be good for everyone and that I'm always gonna have enemies no matter what because if that had happened to me one or two years ago, I probably wouldn't have been able to cope with it. But I really could fuckin' care less anymore. I gave her my well-wishes after it was all said and done and all she saw it as was petty "please let me back into your life" shit, which it wasn't, so she can go do whatever the fuck she wants now.

Woken up AGAIN by someone supposedly offering me a job... selling insurance over the phone.

Is my resume oriented to sales? Is there ANYTHING on there relating to insurance or phone telemarketing? Did I spend four years in college getting two degrees in 'calling people to badger them into services they neither want nor need'?

NO.

AND STOP ACTING LIKE MY DISINTEREST IN YOUR SHITTY JOB MEANS I AM BEING NEGLIGENT OF GOLDEN OPPORTUNITIES.

Anyway, if people are just being called up because they posted a resume that says goddamn anything-at-all, then you're just hiring people that have a PULSE and not people that are actually skilled at anything, which means I -really- don't want anything to do with you.
