UGH OMG I KNOW! I googled for any Seviper/Shiny Seviper plushies and the stores sell none their all custom made which is normally ridiculously expensive. D:Snowy wrote:Yeah that's better. x'D And while we're on the theme of shiny Seviper here...

By the way, it's objective of course- but is Sableye any good? I remember a while back being told that Sableye is really really weak, but I don't trust the source I had.

Re: Pokemon!
I have a custom plush (not a Pokemon) that cost me £70, which is roughly $116? Expensive, but so worth it if you're able to save a bit. I'm thinking of saving for a custom shiny Sylveon at some point, or saving enough money to at least buy one from Folly Lolly's store. I also plan on starting plush making in a few years when I'm out of uni, hopefully I can get good enough to take my own commissions. :3Glain wrote:UGH OMG I KNOW! I've never ran with a Sableye myself, but taking a quick glance at it's stats tells me it is indeed a really weak Pokemon. :/ Sad, because it's not even a pre-evolved form of anything. I'm sure if you trained it well it could make a decent in-game Pokemon, but for competitive battling, it wouldn't stand a chance.LupisDarkmoon wrote:By the way, it's objective of course- but is Sableye any good? In short, Sableye is just a weaker Spiritomb, but any Pokemon can be good if it has the right moves, nature, etc.LupisDarkmoon wrote:Man, Glain, you're making me want to give my All-Poison team a try again! Great team though, they did well.

Oh that's not that bad. Where can I find this Folly Lolly's store? I'd have to hunt down a good custom plushie maker. That one above is like my DREAM plushie. Hey if you ever get good lemme know! Also Lupis this is my team! All poison right now.
Salazar the Shiny Seviper
Ajax the Nidoking
Bax the Crobat
Daffodil the Skuntank
Dart the Toxicroak
Medea the Shiny Scolipede
Once I beat the elite 4 I'm going for an all shiny team
I'll still have Salazar heading it but then I want:
Shiny Glaceon
Shiny Goodra
Shiny Mienshao
Shiny Ninetales
Shiny Noivern

She stocks plushies by demand, though mainly Eeveelutions at the moment. Her Sylveons especially look so lovely and they're really good prices too! And if you can't afford the larger plushies, she does small and really adorable beanies! I'm determined to catch one of her shiny Sylveons one day, they run out of stock within hours after she's posted about them. xD You might wanna keep an eye on her Facebook page, she updates most regularly via that.
Tell that to Flareon! >: Flareon upsets me with how he's designed. His base attack is really good, but if you're trying to make a good fire-type out of him, think again. Or at least, I've never been able to make my poor Aidan that great, poor thing always gets left out if I need a fire-type in my team because I have other fire-types who're generally much better than him. :/Jurz wrote:In short, Sableye is just a weaker Spiritomb, but any Pokemon can be good if it has the right moves, nature, etc.
Also... GODDAMN IT GLAIN! I really want a shiny Seviper now. xD I've never been a huge fan of many poison-types but Seviper's shiny form sure is really nice looking.

Re: Pokemon!
That shiny Seviper plush is awesome, holy shiznit. o_o
I'm not completely sure, but I think that Sableye is designed to be more of an annoyance than an all out attacker, hence why its stats are the way they are. PokeKellz of The National Dex on YouTube actually uses a Sableye in her competitive team, but I can't remember which videos she goes into detail about it, though, but it's one of her favorite Pokemon.
And you guys are seriously making me want to do an all Dark-type team run in one of my games, stop it. XD Buuuut, I greatly prefer Pangoro over Scrafty (I admit I hate Scrafty) and I would really want a Malamar, but I don't want to start my Y over and I don't have an extra copy of or or a copy of X. D:
Luxray should be Electric/Dark. *cough!*

I think Scrafty is kinda cute but Pangoro is much cuter. Well Pancham is cute and Pangoro is ME SMASH. Seriously though you should do it! Of course I'd go for some dual types too and ones that can learn moves that'd take down anything that can be super effective to you. That's what I do. XD
Re: Pokemon!
Oh yeah, I definitely plan on some dual Dark-types since there's that Fairy-type gym, which is why I'm wanting Pangoro (Fighting/Dark) and Malamar (Dark/Psychic) though I'm not sure if either of them can learn Steel or Poison-type moves. o_O My only mono Dark-type would probably be Umbreon (but Liepard and Mightyena are tempting!), and I would most definitely have a Hydreigon and a Houndoom and either a Honchkrow or Mandibuzz for my flyer. And this would give me an opportunity to finally try raising a Skuntank for once, too. And there's also Cacturne, I've never raised one of those yet, either. Hopefully I'll be able to get X for my birthday this year so I can do this, otherwise, I'll be stuck doing this in Gen IV or V where there's no Pangoro or Malamar. *plots*Glain wrote:Oomph I know I want that plush so bad.

Re: Pokemon!
All this talk makes me want to run a dark team!!! Houndoom would be my first pick XD I think I'd also try zoroark, tyranitar for my mega, Bisharp, crawdaunt and...malamar looks interesting.

Re: Pokemon!
I'd love to do another run of X to make it a bit harder with an all-type team or something, but like Falcon, I only have the one copy and there's no way in heck I'm restarting now haha.

Re: Pokemon!
@Makoes - Agreed! It LOOKS it more than anything so why isn't it? Pfft. Lame. Also Skrelp is amazing. I haven't seen the shiny version though. What color is it?
@Snowy - I love Ninetales too! Wait.. It isn't fire/psychic. I never paid attention. That's lame! It should be. I mean.. It just. It fits and... It's pretty and when it's silvery-purple I think of psychic.. I just transferred my team to my boyfriend an he traded them back when I restarted because I'm still attached to them. I won't restart again though. I'll be too busy shiny breeding when I finish this game. XD

Re: Pokemon!
I say it mostly due to whenever Ninetales has appeared in the anime, it's had the ability to read minds/see into the future/that kinda stuff. Plus it's Pokedex entries from multiple games state things such as 'lives for 1,000 years', 'it has special mystic powers', and the fact that if you grab one of it's tails, it results in a 1,000-year curse. This kinda stuff just screams psychic-type to me.Glain wrote:@Snowy - I love Ninetales too! Wait.. It isn't fire/psychic. I never paid attention. That's lame! It should be. I mean.. It just. Edit - Oh yeah and the episode with Ninetales and Brock. That one always seemed very psychic or mythical to me. It's owner died how many years ago and it was still alive waiting.

That episode was so depressing for me, it hit me in a personal soft spot, and it didn't help that Ninetales was already one of my favourites. That episode kills me.Glain wrote:Ah yes! Also true. Also... Don't grab the tail. NEVER. Grab. The. Tail.

Ninetales in the Amie is sat down with it's tails flowing behind it, so they're easy to accidentally touch, and it doesn't like it. x'DGlain wrote:Aww I'm sorry. It was really sad. >.<

Speaking of Ninetales...
*tackles Falconcrest and hugs her into oblivion*
She was so willing to trade me back my old shiny Ninetales, Tyra, just now, because I felt horribly guilty trading her away just so I could breed for a new one with a better nature. :/ I felt guilty, but at the same time so happy she went to a friend. She was my first ever shiny, I tried so hard for her. I got my male, Elusive, a while back now but I still missed her deeply. Welcome home, Tyra. :3
