I don't really go out of my way to avoid pet cannibalism. To be honest, I find it kind of funny, in a morbid way. >.>

I have never done this. I always keep atleast a stack of vendor bought food for my pets, or chilled meat since it is nonspecific type meat.

As for sending my pet in and standing back......my pets get hungry for live meat sometimes :twisted:

I'll admit... when I'm leveling a pet, like I'm doing with Aotona and Arcturis right now, I'll send them after lvl 80 Mamoths in Hodir and stand by while they do all the killing. That said, I always keep them healed. I think of it more of a training exercise.
