After 30 years of the urban legend of Atari having dumped hundreds and thousands of E.T. game cartridges in a landfill, it was apparently true.

I always believed this to be false, but then again people 30 years ago had a different mentality about disposals. I'm not sure what to think really, but it's pretty interesting.
